    The linear structure of the prologue is expected, but the complete lack of ability to have a say in how things progress to that pre-determined path irks me probably more than it should. I also just find the entire prologue unnecessarily bloated.

            Soo unbelievably stoked on this patch. Might be the one that makes this a gem lol. It's a hefty patch at 18 gigs. Size of smaller games.

              Also a massive improvement on PC. Can now turn on all raytracing options and have constantly over 60fps with the 2nd dsll level.

                With all these updates and fixes those of us waiting for the next-gen upgrade are in for something special. Depending on when that drops maybe we'll even luck out and have some DLC content ready.

                    This is the type of game that I will probably play on and off for the next few years. I see all the negative reactions on Reddit, but I dig the game, warts and all.

                          Overall, I'm loving the experience so far, however, there's one area that I guess I'd have to say I'm disappointed in.

                          There seem to be A LOT of NPC's that stand around like mannequins and don't even engage in conversation with one another. Take the Afterlife for example, theres some groups both inside and outside that are just standing in groups of 2-4 and just staring mindlessly at one another. The other thing is the density of the city. I know PC has a slider for this and I'm genuinely considering upgrading my PC to play this game. There's not enough people or cars.

                          I'm playing on the PlayStation 5 so I'm sure the next gen upgrade will help tremendously. At least I hope. However, as it stands right now there are times when I feel like I'm playing Grand Theft Auto IV on the PS3. Either way, I've waited seven years for this game and, for the most part, it is meeting expectations. But seeing some of the PC screenshots make me want to pull the trigger on a new rig and just be done with it.

                            I've honestly had more problems with Steam than I have the actual game so far. On release night the small patch that would unlock the preload for actual play wouldn't download and gave me disc write errors, and I eventually had to redownload the ENTIRE game again (now that it was a full, unlocked game I wouldn't have the preload problem). I got to play some yesterday once that finished, but now the next patch didn't install correctly and after I verified the files it needs to download about 25 GB of the game again - 4 hours or so on my connection.

                            To be fair I feel like this is an issue with Steam rather than the game itself, but it's still frustrating either way.

                              Turned off or lowered depth of field, film grain, chromatic abberation and DLSS from performance to quality.... and really happy with how the game looks now. Going to continue to tinker.

                                Bro i hated that mission get your gun I’m thinking it was just me it took me a minute to figure out what to do on that. Is that mission glitch or what
