Re: Cyberpunk 2077
Oh. I have spread out my experience points around a bit but have been working on building up my technical ability and body build. I enjoy going stealth as much as possible too.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077
I did an engineering and intelligence maxed out build So I could craft legendary weapons and quick hacks my first time through. Seeing how powerful (ultimate) quick hacks can be with the right OS changed the way I played the game.
Second playthrough I'm planning on focusing on reflexes and cool because I really enjoy pistols and swords in this game. while I really enjoyed the stealth, I didn't have enough points to put into the attribute to make it worthwhile to continue approaching jobs that way.

Dear gamers, we are committed to fixing bugs and crashes and will continue to work and improve the game via future updates to make sure you are...
Reading between the lines on this chart, it seems like the next-gen console versions may not be out until towards the end of 2021. The Q&A in that link says they're aiming for the second half of the year.Comment

Re: Cyberpunk 2077
End of the year I'm going to have a great game to purchase... maybe. Still sucks for those on old consoles that bought it early or had been anticipating for years though.
Actually taking ownership of realizing an inferior product is never a bad move. This quote from the video:
"I and the entire leadership team are deeply sorry for this and this video is me publicly owning up to that. Please don't fault any of our teams for what happened. They are all incredibly talented and hard working. Myself and our board are the final decision makers and it was our call to release the game."
Taking responsibility, not blaming the end user or the people making the game what madness is this.
So were the DLCs always going to be free? or is they going the No Mans Sky route of "we screwed up royally now here are huge free updates""Listen son, you only have enough runs when you’re showering after a win."Comment

Re: Cyberpunk 2077
So I'm guessing the 1.07 will be next Friday then, followed by 1.08 a couple weeks after. I'm ok with this, I definitely thought 1.07 was going to be this Friday but whatever. I'm sure AI will be adjusted at some point, like I said earlier I really don't think it's a top priority. It's not game breaking.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077
I am a very open minded gamer. Been gaming since Atari 2600.
This game is a flop. I know there are those that are finding enjoyment and really like it. Cool. Glad there are those who do. But my standards are games like:
Skyrim
Ghost of Tsushima
Horizon Zero Dawn
Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2
The Last Of Us 1 and 2
The Witcher 3
Just to name a few.
This game does not hold a candle to those titles.
Maybe next gen after some real work it can. I am willing to come back to it in a couple of years on the PS5 when I eventually go next gen.
But this was a flop and the company is fully saying so.
This is actually the first time I returned a game for a full refund (glad I was able to). I love Bladerunner. I envisioned that type of experience. And this game has that kind of potential.
But simply put.....it was not good enough. I lost interest within a week once all the flaws came front and center for me as I got deeper into the game.
Welp......back in a few years hopefully if they really turn it around on the new consoles. Would love nothing more than a great futuristic noir RPG/action game. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Cyberpunk 2077
I'm ready for the Netflix dox on this. There are so many aspects of this game's development that needs to be explored.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

This game should not have been released period. It still needs some real development time.

And funny you mention the other games. I finally got around to hooking up my ps5 and first game i played was Tsushima. After an hour in, the thoughts that I was thinking "wait, so this game is so polished and beautiful for and came out last gen but Cyberpunk is a mess?"
Just overall weird. I don't even mind the performance issues as much as the bad AI and hollow depth that it has. I hate the GTA comparison since they are totally different games, but i do think the AI and immersion are fair comparisons just to show the level of detail and hollow difference between the two games.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Ghost of Tsushima is going down in all likely hood as my all time favorite non sports game. And I look forward to replaying it on the PS5 as well. This game will demand a second play through on the hardest level. It is simply mind-blowing. What a way to end the PS4 generation. Now Playing on PS5:
