I'm still surprised just how much of a deal this became for the community. It affected me like a half dozen times at best and dying/restart wasn't a big deal. I never expected GTA level cop interaction.

Yeah people expecting gta level of police response in Cyberpunk when in that world the cops only seem to care about protecting the corps and the wealthy.

It's only got me a few times, but it will definitely be a lot better when fixed. Cops shouldn't materialize out of thin air. It's more of an immersion problem.

I haven't played since close to release where I played for maybe 5-6 hours. I just decided it's better for someone like me to wait for the next gen patch as I have the series x. I'm not the type to do multiple playthroughs so I may as well save it for it's best foot forward.

Started another playthrough and while I didn't have issues before (on Series X) I'm noticing little changes. Visuals seem clearer and more defined with better textures. Typos removed and the little quality of life things are nice, and they instituted w/o hype a great subtitle feature, where they appear naturally if set to off when a character speaks a different language.

Honestly the biggest hurdle is getting over the bad press, memes, and toxicity in the gaming community and playing with an open mind. It's a great game, certainly no Witcher 3, but also a far cry from Superman 64 or Atari ET.

If No Man's Sky could do it, a AAA title like Cyberpunk with a very capable dev team behind it certainly can.

I IMO made the mistake of getting this on release.

The game simply was not ready.

Got a full refund and will look forward to a next gen patch and pick it up down the road.

                            I love the concept.

I had put the game down after all the problems started popping up and figured I’d wait until next gen patch hits.

Oh I agree the game was pushed out early, just wanted to chime back in that it was eminently playable after patch 1.1, and is even more so now after 1.2. I'm hoping the free DLCs and next gen update come out clean without introducing new issues, as it's finally where it should have been at launch.
