Yes. Battlefield 4 Lead Gameplay Designer Alan Kertz said they changed it because of how great the triggers are. Also, here's a funny quote from him.

So many of us say we suck, and I'm one of them. There is so much to love about this game though, the levels are amazing, "verticality" is really a thing on these maps, and gameplay is thoroughly enjoyable. It seems like there are even more ways to contribute than ever, as suppression fire is very effective and moving spotting to the right trigger has made it a widely used tool.

I've only played PUGs but I've been in great squads and I've seen excellent teamwork on both sides in every match. People seem to understand flanking, playing their class, etc. Battles are intense as flags change hands multiple times per match, and I feel like the scope of the map combined with readily available vehicles has been refined to allow conflict at all times. BF3 sometimes felt empty, now with the addition of lots of personal vehicles (quads, waverunners), people can get to the action fast. Players are also spawning on squadmates a lot.

Levolution is pretty cool, I was on the islands map in a gunboat when the storm rolled in, and suddenly seas were churning, and our craft was all over the place along every axis.

I commend DICE for finally putting a training mode in, maybe I will finally get the hang of helicopters.

Went back and played BF3 tonight and the difference is amazing...I think i am holding out on this game until next gen

This game kinda sucks...and i am severely disappointed. ...The gunplay is horrible in this and long range shots feel generic as hell if you even get any

I'm sure over time it will be tweaked and adjusted. BF3 has been out what, 2 years now, and it's had many updates and tweaks...I still really enjoy it on PC and will look forward to Xbox One as well.

If I decide to get Premium in, say, one month, would I be able to use all of the battlepacks that were available prior to my purchase? Or do I only receive the future battlepacks from the point of purchasing Premium?

Anyone have an answer for this? I'm curious as well.

The BF4 website says that you'll get 12 Battlepacks with Premium. It would make sense if you buy it a month or two after you'll get the Battlepacks already released. I can't see them not giving them to you just cause you didn't buy it when it was first released.

Dunno about the Premium, sorry I can't help out there.

For those of you interested in seeing a much better comparison of BF4 graphics across next-gen systems...

Install This if you are using Chrome. It's to allow animated PNGs (lossless, much better detail and no color loss.)

I believe Firefox and Opera can view these types of images natively, but not 100% sure on that.

Started getting the blankety blank blanking freezing issues today. Thought I was good to go cause I didn't have any freezes day one. I'm betting there will be issues with next gen too, so maybe this crap with the 360 will numb me from the frustration when things go wrong in a couple of weeks.

Tried playing my first game. Sound glitch.

Tried to play a 2nd match to see if it'd go away. Game crashes while server changes maps.

Feels more like a Beta at this point.

And now I cant connect to any servers, "Could not join this server: it's not there anymore". Holy crap.
