I really need to go back an finish Hearts of Stone. Had a nasty crashing issue during the wedding mission and couldn't get past it. Hopefully it was fixed in a patch or a driver update.

Man I just realized yesterday was the one year anniversary of the witcher 3... I re bought it on psn the 49 version which includes everything even the upcoming Blood and wine.... This game right now is still one of the reasons to own either a ps4 or Xbox one....

Lol this game rules... I tried the unlimited money glitch with the bee hive..... Got a ton of crowns and as soon as I get to the Capital the tax guy comes after me for 100k....thats really cool they did that.

There was one exploit that involved killing cows, and meditating for a respawn. They fixed it with a patch in which a demon cow monster would spawn that slaughters you.

I used to have this on PS4 and only made it to like level 7 and traded it in. Just bought it again on X1 and it's installing now, I'm excited to play it again and to get into the upcoming DLC!

Haha yup, wasn't really into those types of games at the time. I've since grown more fond of them and I do remember it being good fun even though I didn't know what I was doing so I had to pick it up again.

Probably worthy of a ban though

Other than the kinda wonky movement in this game, definitely one of the best I've ever played.

Played until 3am and made it all the way through White Orchard and did every last thing there was to do there.

In a weird way, I think trading it in and buying it again later has made me appreciate it more.

Finished the main story of Witcher 3 and what a great game. I was freaking out thinking I got a bad ending but all is well.

The whole pack? This was the base game, HoS, and B&W.

Anyways, got it installed with an HD retexture mod, turbo lighting mod, and a bunch of quality of life mods. Still running on ultra at 60fps. This right here is why I built my PC.

What GPU are you running with? I'm tempted to get this on PC again because I don't touch my PS4 for anything that isn't The Show or Netflix. I just don't get into games like this on the console anymore for some reason.

I have a 970, but I'm curious as to how well it runs this game. I'd only be going at 1080, so I'd know it could be pretty high, I just don't know how high.

A 970 at 1080p should be able to pretty much max it out. Keep the shadows at medium though because they don't add much visually beyond that but do affect the performance.

Edit:

R9 390 here. I know little of computer components outside of what I have as this is my first gaming PC, so I don't know how they compare.

I have the 390 as well. It and the 970 give roughly the same performance. Both pretty much max out the game 1080p 60fps.
