Well, the day seemed too long to me. It was twice as long as the night, I prefer a more equal ratio. There may be a way to configure the timescale on the PC version.

People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

My fear is only getting chunks at a time to play, (like most of my gaming time) save the occasional weekend night marathons, and 90% of the time I play it's daytimeComment

Re: The Witcher 3
I played through the first two around when they were first released so looking forward to how this one turns out. The first was a bit of a slog and the second had this huge difficulty spike on one of the first boss battles and then was mostly easy the rest of the way but I do enjoy the series.
I hope I enjoy it as I played through the first two Dragon Age games and the Inquisition did nothing for me, hopefully Witcher 3 tickles my fancy.Comment

Just in case any of you were like me and didn't know:

So awesome but also sucks so much. I work at (night shift) 10pm eastern the 18th. I may have to wait until I'm off work the morning of the 19th or else I won't be effective at all at work. LolPS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: The Witcher 3
XML Will Let You Enable Sharpening-"Uber" Terrain, Textures & LOD Options Found
The GOG version of The Witcher 3 is available for pre-loading, and some users found the XML options via which PC gamers will be – most probably – able to tweak the game’s graphics settings. Via the game’s XML files, PC gamers can enable the Sharpening filter (that was used in most early screenshots). Not only that, but there is an “Uber” quality for a lot of graphics options (including the game’s Terrain, Textures and LOD settings).
Here are the most important XML configs. You can visit The Witcher 3’s forum for the complete list of XML configs available in the game.PS: You guys are great.

Re: The Witcher 3
the thing holding me back is the combat. Maybe I'm in the minority but it looks really fast/arcadey - sort of like a Devil May Cry - so to me it doesn't match the environment and the feel of the world. I'd rather a slow, weight-y and more based in real world physics combat....
The big cities look amazing thoughLiquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
I enjoyed the combat in TW2 even though it had some clunk to it. This appears to be the same basis, but less clunk to it.

Re: The Witcher 3
I've gotten a bit lost and have failed to keep up completely with all of this downgrading talk. Is this going to affect PC gamers? Originally I was planning on getting the game on PS4 but after the issues they've had with framerates I've decided to get it on PC. However, it seems that there are graphical downgrades on every version. Is this the case? If so, are they going to release texture packs that will update the game on PC? It's not a huge deal to me but I do want the game to look as good as it possibly can.Comment

I guess the early 10/10 reviews and quotes like "Its the best RPG ever made" doesnt mean anything.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os
