What rules are you talking about? Have you ever seen a billboard ad or commercial of ANY food advert and wonder why the Big Mac your holding looks nothing like the one in the picture? Happens almost everywhere in life. Welcome to the real world.

That's the reason I don't ever eat this McDonalds thing or I don't buy products that have misleading ads. What's your point? Should I react like a sheep and stay in a corner without saying anything? I have the right to be disappointed for this and I have the right to speak about it.

Man, I think I may just quit reading game forums right before a big release. I advise you guys to do the same. Makes me looks for issues I otherwise wouldn't have noticed, nor cared about. Hope you guys enjoy the game. I know I sure will.

I completely understand and respect your opinion but the downgrade=optimization laughable excuse by CDPR can only be valid for people that didn't have a single PC in their whole life. For the rest is a straight insult.

You act like it's super easy to develop a game and make sure it stays the same through the whole development.

I'm also tired of the "Hur, Dur it's on consoles so that reason for PC problemz, boo booo"

Well I'm guessing you barely eat anything then. You go to restaurants and buy something listed in the menu, 9 times out of 10 it doesn't look like the picture listed.

Same with so many other things. At this point to be your just complaining to complain because you feel "betrayed" fir some reason.

Then I would venture to guess you don't buy much of anything then,just about all ads for something are "misleading" to get one's attention.

Ever wonder why milk doesn't look that white on your cereal?? it's because they add glue to give it the "whiteness" for commercials....and yea this is comparable because their showing one thing and what you get isn't like that at all......do you by chance go on those websites and rant about color of the milk being misleading??

it's gotten worse with this gen (imo)
I already have the game paid for and downloaded on my PS4,and have watched a few vids that have been on the PS4,and I think the game looks damn nice from what I've seen.

I sure as hell ain't going to let someone make attempts to discourage me from enjoying a game.

I said why its horrible (food prep), as did you explaining how milk on commercials (as most food) isn't always milk. It's not hard to see why, as it's not difficult to see why the downgrade is disappointing.

But hey, keep on baiting/distracting from the point, nothing to see here, why talk about the downgrade when you can just focus on anyone who beings it up and work to discredit them instead. lol.

Thankfully in the end we've all got a fun game to play.

I have to ask, fish. Is the "off-topicness" concerning the food analogies, etc or is the whole conversation regarding to the downgrades of this title off limits now? I just want clarification of what is considered on topic.

Yeah that's kinda why I was confused earlier when I saw the downgrade posts for the first time. I've watched 1080p videos of footage from ps4 and xbone and it looks really good to me, nothing below average compared to other games I'm playing (Old Blood, Dragon Age).

Anyway. My pc can play witcher 2 on ultra at around 40-55 FPS on average. I'd imagine I'd have to lower it to medium or high for witcher 3, which is why I just went with the PS4 version.

I'm very excited for the game. Looks really fantastic. I still haven't touched far cry 4 or shadow of mordor, been sitting on my HD since a flash sale. I'll get around to all those great games one day.

I usually don't buy strategy guides but I might for this game, if not only for the second play through to get anything I missed the first time

I usually get them if there are collectors editions.. Never open them but they look cool on book shelf lol

I dunno why but this downgrade didn't bother me at all. I do like pushing my PC so I can play the games at it's highest settings though.

The graphics look fine to me but I prefer the lighting and colors from the 2013 trailer. Just gives off that game of thrones vibe....dark and gritty....dunno why they went the bright colorful look....
