Someone a while back mentioned turning the sensitivity way down, maybe even to zero. I have not tried that yet but perhaps you should give it a go.

yea, turning both sensitivities did help, but unfortunately it didn't help with the "loose" movement of Geralt.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

I've really been enjoying the PS4 version just taking it slow & getting comfortable with everything since I haven't played a witcher game before. I lowered the control sensitivty right down to tighten it up a bit. Wish there was a walk button when outside as it does feel a bit squirrly but doesn't hurt my enjoyment. Also is there a crouch button?

Very good news gents, they are aware and working on the combat stuttering/framerate issues. Actually, I think they're done with it, and the patch for consoles next week should have the fix. Here's to some smoothed out (hopefully) combat http://www.vg247.com/2015/05/21/the-...e-rate-issues/

I remember Dying Light received an update not too terribly long after its release that greatly improved performance and slightly improves graphics on PS4, so there is no doubt in my mind that this game will receive stellar post-release support and improvements

Have you tried? The first time you play is incredibly early in the game, when you're in the bar.

I really love the amount of HUD options. I made it smaller and turned off several things, including undiscovered points of interest. This way I don't fall into constantly placing markers and exploring the world point-to-point.

Also, not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but you can switch signs during combat with left and right on the d-pad, while holding parry. I prefer this compared to the rotary wheel.

I had no idea you could do that with the d-pad. Thats way better

Lost the tutorial round and tried against another random guy.

I get the mechanics, but am relatively lost after that. I try setting up to keep all my high cards for the last two rounds, but that didn't work too well.
