CD Projekt Nabs Tywin Lannister For Witcher 3

CD Projekt RED, creators of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the highly anticipated fantasy role-playing game set in a gritty and morally ambiguous world, announced today that Charles Dance, the British actor and screenwriter best known for his roles in Alien 3, The Last Action Hero and Game of Thrones, will voice Emperor Emhyr var Emreis in The Witcher 3.

“Charles Dance is the perfect candidate to play the mighty Nilfgaardian emperor in our upcoming title. It’s a dream come true for the team here at RED to be able to work with such an accomplished actor and magnetic personality,” said Marcin Blacha, Lead Writer for the title.

Boredom has led me to reading up on this and watching every damn video I could find.

I NEED A RELEASE DATE, DAMN YOU DEVELOPERS!

This is the game I bought a PS4 for. I just didn't know it at the time. Jesus god, I want to play this so bad.

Sorry for the no information bump. I'm just excited for it. Whenever it hits.

That looks so beautiful. But I will probably be out of the loop since I didn't play the first two, correct?

Every indication from the developers says no.

This does look pretty damn good. I need to somehow try and get myself back into Witcher 2. It just kinda lost my interest at some point.

Same here. Can't put my finger on exactly why, but it seems like the massive openness that's supposed to be 3, I'm hoping it won't be a problem.

This will be that RPG im desperately craving to get lost in on the Ps4.

After playing through 2 I'm excited for an open-world to roam with The Witcher. Hopefully the story (stories really) will be just as tight as the last one.

I still need to play Roche's side in 2.

I still need to finish my first playthrough. My plan is to finish it over Winter Break.

The Witcher 3: New Details to Blow Your Mind: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/01/...blow-your-mind

Ask anyone what games they’re looking forward to the most in 2014, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will probably be on that list. Developer CD Projekt RED’s latest open-world action RPG was extremely well received at E3 2013, winning over 55 awards, and has since then been referred to as a true next-gen experience to look forward to.

We caught up with Marcin Iwinski, co-founder of the CD Projekt group, to talk about its ambitious project, dealing with worldwide accolades, game mechanics, and lots more.

This game really looks awesome. I never played the first 2 but I just saw the witcher 2 on sale on Xbox Live for 9.99. Def gonna try it out for this price.

This is without having generic Fed Ex-like quests. That is unbelievable.

And then they're going to release a tool set for modders to create their own adventures? Too good.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
