I'm excited like everyone else but I tried Witcher 2 and was pretty overwhelmed with the complexity. I loved Skyrim and hopes it's similar. Dragon Age seems more user friendly for someone like me who doesn't play a ton of RPGs.

Instead of trying to be like Skyrim or cater to people who don't typically enjoy the Witcher games, I hope that they're sticking to their roots and giving their audience more of what they loved from the other games, outside of making it open world of course. Bethesda will make the next Elder Scrolls game, CDPR doesn't have to.

Speaking of DA, the main reason I didn't like DA2 is because the developers tried to make the game for people who were not into Origins, instead of trying to satisfy the people that loved it.

Yeah, I hope everything is as complex and the AI is as tough as it was in The Witcher 2 personally. I usually don't play games like this, but The Witcher 2 made me want a challenge.

Honestly, I didn't really think the game was complex at all. The thing that took me the longest to really get down was the menu system and navigating that for items during combat. Outside of that I thought everything else was pretty straight forward as long as you knew how to utilize your weapons and potions.

I kind of agree, Witcher 2 was no where near the first in terms of complexity. But I wouldn't say it wouldn't say it's exactly straightforward either. I look it as they took a classic(ish) rpg and turned it into a action rpg without removing everything that made the first great. In doing this it kept the the original fan base relatively happy while gaining a much more massive following. Unlike dragon age 2 which followed a similar pattern in my eyes but completely failed.
