    It's called alcoholest.

Anyone else going around challenging everyone in gwent? Everytime I come across a merchant there is two things I look for, gwent cards and treasure maps.

The treasure maps have actually been really useful. Only one of the maps were for my current level, but I found some sweet level 8 witcher gear diagrams and I'm currently rocking 5 pieces of the set. I would have used all 6, but I got a sweet yellow weapon with 2 sockets, 13% crit chance and 50% crit damage.

Are the merchants notated on the map and stay in one place?

I still haven't touched much of the main story, been exploring all of Velen.

My favorite side quests so far are Wild at Heart and Fall of House of Rearden.

I moved it back to hard, before I wasn't using any potions, oils, or grenades, I also was barely blocking with L2. I like the challenge of not being able to meditate my health back, I just want wan to keep track of the alcohol used during meditation.

Also, where do I find the herbalist who pays top dollar for honeycomb. I have a buttload saved up

Also, last question, where do I buy the potion that respecs your ability points
Yes it is alcoholest. I forgot the actual name.

On the game notes it says meditate will use any hard alcohol. I think the alcoholest is something to use incase there is a hard alcohol that you don't want to get consumed.

Yeah they show on the map as a bag icon, but you can also buy them from armorers, blacksmiths and inn keepers. They generally stay in one spot, but may roam about the area.

OK,so after reading about not selling my witcher gear,I went ahead and started over, wasn't that far anyway as I had sold both swords....

I had noticed the game did seem to be a little to "colorful" and bright for my liking,so what I did was instead of messing with the ingame gamma adjustment,I upped my brightness on my TV till I could barely see the image, but the biggest thing was lowering my color setting on my TV.

While the game looked good before, lowering the color a bit really brought that extra level of "witcherness" I was looking for...I figure Geralt's world shouldn't look all colorful and over saturated....lol

I noticed it after I shut my game off so I'm not sure how to find it,maybe someone can chime in if they've found it in game yet.
Anybody figured out how to access the dlc? Or is it just there automatically? I pre ordered the Expansion pack with the game

Don't know what system you are on but for Xbox One, I just went to the store and searched for the Witcher. They both popped up.

Slowly getting the hang of things. Crafting and all that stuff can be overwhelming when you don't play many RPGs.

One thing I find annoying is the tiny text when looting items.

I'm glad everyone is mostly positive about this game.

I'm going to continue on with The Witcher 2 on PC and finish it first.

Then I'll have to DL this for PS4 because my PC isn't good enough.
