You can. I'm not sure about starting over for selling the first set of witcher swords as the only piece you need to find is emerald dust and it's a common drop. Just craft another set.

I always start games on the highest difficulty so I started on death march difficulty...good lord. Dark Souls has got nothing on this game at that difficulty. After being killed by the opening ghouls 5x decided it was in the best interest of my sanity to drop it down one.

I to like like my games to be a challenge but not to the point where it kinda ruins the game because the kind has to cheat to win

Not saying Wicher 3 is like that is like that but games like Madden and such simple make the cpu super human even though they will be using scrubs..

I'm on the second to hardest mode in Witcher

          Re: The Witcher 3

When I approached the game like I was playing Skyrim or Devil May Cry I struggled greatly.

I didn't realize how important it was to prepare for big battles/hunts.

Potions, oils, bombs, using trap and shield sign as much as the offensive ones, focusing on those fundamentals has helped me a lot. I was barely even using block/parry at first and then I saw a bunch of videos and guides that say you should pretty much always have L2 (block) held down constantly and watch your flank. It is much more like Bloodborne than your typical action RPG and I feel that works wonderfully with the open world setting

There is one in the large city in the north of the second area(Veren?). Same city with the money exchange guy if that helps. The armor is on the merchant outside of the very first inn you quest out of.

OK,kinda stuck here and not understanding what to do.

I doubt this is a spoiler as it has nothing to do with any quests or anything.
Sometimes in talking to folks you get an option to "influence" their response but it says you need to be a level 1 of....damn I can't remember the name.

I'm hoping someone has come across this and knows what I'm talking about,I'm sorry I can't remember what it was called...I know it makes it that much more difficult to help.

I've looked all through the menu's and don't see anything that a point can be put into that would be able to "influence" a conversation.

I sure hope all this makes some kind of sense.......

If I'm off on this hopefully someone can chime in and correct me.

The DLC is supposed to release every week or something like that....2 pieces of DLC for the next 8 weeks = 16 free pieces of DLC.

Menu takes a while to get used to for sure.

Related note, that Delusion skill needs to be active in a skill slot in order for the dialog option to be selectable when it's available.

You should find a Viper set that will be better than most drops for you awhile. The diagrams are called serpentine steel and serpentine silver. I found them in White Orchard.

I feel like the difficulty is fair. When I got dropped off in Velen I thought I could cruise around and knock off all the ?s, but I learned quickly that won't be happening for a little while.
