I just had the quest of things to do setting up for that battle come up last night.

Can someone tell me is that's the end of the story? Kinda seems like it could be, but I don't know. I have so many others things (side quests & contracts) to do, but really want to do this battle, as long as it's not the end, haha!

    Anyone?

It is not, but prepare yourself, the feels are coming. Then there's another act of several more main quests.

I played around 4 hrs yesterday. I didn't really get into it. I'm not sure why, but I'll try again later. I just wasn't compelled to play further.

Sure it's been posted before, but if you go to your character screen and hit r2 the played time is posted on the bottom of the screen.

I have 3 days so far and I just completed the bloody baron questline and entered Novigrad.

My time is bugged. I've played a lot, but not as much as that timer claims.

                    Re: The Witcher 3

Completed the main story yesterday at about 55 hours. Still have a few side quests and a dozen or so Witcher Contracts left to take care of (also about 100 question marks but I'm not clearing all of those) before I put the game down.

Best game I've played this year so far and my favorite RPG since Witcher 2. The main story from 2 holds up to 3 in terms of quality, but the side quests and the world in this game are first class and among the best I've ever played.

Do some things close off or change if you go through the main story first (as far as side quests and whatnot)?

A main reason I am afraid to do story quests is because I already experienced one thing changing by doing a story quest before a side quest in Novigrad and after that I was like "absolutely everything on the side first from here on out."

Sounds like you answered your own question.

But yes, absolutely. I remember reading that there's eight or ten storylines going on throughout the game with side quest tying into main quest. Doing certain side quest, or not doing them, or the decisions you make in those side quests can and will change the main storyline. If you get to a point in the main storyline where one of those side quests was a factor in how the main story advances, the game will close the side quest so the main story can continue.

Well I learned the hard way that offing a certain blonde friend with a nice rack prematurely early in the game will cause a quest much later on to fail when the storyline comes full circle, lol! Unfortunately I chose the wrong response during a conversation and the *****'s horns came out......it was pretty much kill, or be killed lmao

So yeah, that decision caused a later quest to automatically fail. I also had another one fail recently, one I sat on for awhile. Really confused too because it didn't strike me as one with a time limit.

I've played for over 5 days, and most of that just exploring around the world, doing treasure hunts, witcher contracts, etc. I just finished the main storyline in Skellige, and now am at Kaer Morhen.
