    Re: The Witcher 3

This game is just pure awesomeness. I came to the realization today that it will one day end and I got kind of sad. I'm only a level 5, but I feel that way already. Its one of those games to cherish, it does everything right.

Then add to it that the devs provided all of that free DLC, stuff which adds a lot of value and is FREE.

CDPR is my new favorite developer. Whatever they put out there, I will be buying...

witch hunters.....I feel like doing that with most of the **** talking townsfolk. Everytime one of them says "You looking for trouble?" I just want to hit them with a shot of the ignii. Either that or give them a taste of the steel.

I feel like my luck from fallout followed me here. Was exploring as usual taking my sweet time finding Ciri when a giant tree monster spawns behind me. Was getting ready to burn it when it seen ??. I immediately ran away to the village, but seen a POI near where I was, so decided to check it out. Turns out the POI was for witcher gear, was avoiding it until I hit the level but decided to go in. Reach the final room only to see some vampire that phases through the air. Died the first time, but almost killed when that tree thing spawn there. Was so confused on how it happen that it ended up dying after avoid both of them for a few minutes. Guess I'm coming back here later.

Been playing for 10-15 hours an only around 5. Having a good time exploring which was repetitive and boring in most games. Should into be dismantling all my junk and weapons(relic & magic) or selling it? My favorite part of the game so far is how the monster talk, really took me by surprise.

I ended up at the same location too. That eskima thing wasn't too bad. I stumbled upon that POI after the crookback bog quests. Encountered that leshen too, saw the big red skull over its head and got away on roach...[emoji6]

            Leveled up to 6 now.

              Re: The Witcher 3

I'm trying to get to Skellige, but the game just keeps throwing quests at me. Not to mention I'm getting to the point where some of the Velen contracts I stuck a pin in are now in my wheelhouse.

So, now I'm back in Velen and wrecking some fools with one or two hits. Its a great feeling to run up on a 5 level Bandit camp and take them out in seconds since I'm 15 levels above them. Sometimes I wish they would just flee like I have to do at times. Either way its cool to use a Northern Wind bomb on a group of enemies and just brutally finish them off one by one. Or throw a Grapeshot bomb on them and watch their bodies go to pieces.

I started reading The Last Wish this weekend which is one of two short stories books featuring Geralt. I have to say the game does an amazing job of recreating the feel of these short stories and putting you in his boots.

Plus, its interesting getting the backstories on some of these situations like Geralt invoking the Law of Surprise to Duny and Pavetta with Crach an Craite in audience.

              Re: Novigrad & Triss
I know the books are all about Yen and I know once I get to Skellige I won't feel bad, but man this game really pushes you towards Triss. Hard.

Love playing gwent. Still using the northern realms deck since I don't have enough cards for the others but boy is it fun. Had a few games where I barely won. So far in Velen searching for people to play. Those guys for the quest are insane and play very smart.

Currently level 8 just searching lower Velen to unlock more POI and Witcher contracts. Mainly going for a Light Armor fast attack build. Can't wait till I unlock whirl.

Just finished this game. Did all the DLCs. Gem of a game. 10/10. Took me a full year complete it as I purchased it around this time last year. Even though I have still have a couple horses quests and ? marks to do I think I'm done with the game. Ready to put this game down for good and trade it in. Can't see myself playing NG+. The game is just way too long. Again, a great game. The best I've ever played.

I picked those two up at the same time a couple months ago. I think I'm going to read Sword of Destiny before starting the Saga series.

Hit lv 11, and decided to pay my friend the Leshin a visit. Had two good fights that lead to my defeat. Those wolves he summon are deadly and the only reason he beats me. Just going to wait till I'm around lv 18 before in go to find the Witcher gear.

Still haven't been to Novigrad yet thanks to all the quest and POI. Just going to spend a few hours exploring all of Velen before I go up north.

Bought Fallout 4 the same time I bought this and haven't touched it since i played it last week. This game is just done well. Can't wait till I get into the dlc.
