I should of downloaded the iphone app when I started playing this game. I beat the game last night, but I am messing around with the app today and collecting some money + resources. This seems like really cool since I want to do a few more things before trading this in.

Re: Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag

Finally beat the main story and freedom cry dlc, 100 percent everything.

I literally could just boot the game up an have a blast without playing missions. From plundering ships, to the mini games, treasure hunts, harpooning, and watching the random ship battles play out.

Now to my funny moments, I'm in the swamp area of Nassau for the first time, as I'm talking to my lady about the crocs being a *****. I place my controller down leaving Edward in the swamps as I haven't come across one yet, soon as I turn around I'm being attacked by a ****ing croc.

Other moment was with the Jaguar, forgot the exact location but I either just wasn't thinking straight an misread the animals for the map or hell idk. I'm getting to the entrance of the jungle out of no where I'm attacked, initially I fight off the attack.

Jaguar retreats, only to start running back at me. I froze up. My first thought was to run an quickly switch to my pistol on the move, but no I just sat there clueless unsure of what to do, which weapon to use and get poor Edward Kenway torn to streads.

              Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag Patch 1.04 Out on PS4: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/02/...104-out-on-ps4

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag has received a new patch on PS4, fixing a bug that prevented users with over 100 friends from connecting to UPlay.

Coming in at 2.3GB, patch 1.04 will now allow PS4 players with larger friends lists to connect to UPlay, something that's required if you're looking to get all of the game's trophies.

Last week we heard that, despite claims Ubisoft has planned the ending of the Assassin's Creed franchise, this is "not exactly true," according to one of the series' writers. As an annualised series, we're due an announcement about where Assassin's Creed V will take place fairly soon.

In the meantime, read the first part of our analysis into the formation and rise to greatness of Ubisoft Montreal.

I wonder if that means they'll drop the current day stuff and just do time specific games?

Quick question guys. I love this game and I am ready to get the DLC. I dont play online at all so should I get the season pass for $20 or just the DLC for $10?

                  Thanks

If you're not going to play any multiplayer the season pass is a waste of money. Freedom Cry is the only single player DLC slated for release. Except for a couple inconsequential sp items, everything else included in the pass is mp content.

The same as AC3 basically. Only thing added is Game Lab where you can the set up custom games with all sorts of restrictions or stipulations. (No running or rooftops, specific skills only, etc.)

Assassin's Creed 4: Freedom Cry Releasing as Standalone Title: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/02/...andalone-title

Ubisoft has announced Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag's Freedom Cry DLC will be released as a standalone title.

Freedom Cry will be available via download on PS4 and PS3 from February 18 in North America and February 19 in Europe, with a PC version on the way on February 25. The fact it's standalone means you won't need to buy Black Flag in order to play it, and both versions will cost $14.99.

I think the DLC was bringing in interest from people who didn't own AC4.
