How do you know how many planning points your character has before planning your moves? I must be overlooking it somewhere. I'm pretty early in the game right now, but it's cool so far.

When it came out for the PC I didn't have a computer that could run it, I do now, but I'm thinking about getting it for the XBOX. I'm agonizing over paying 60 bucks for it though. It's totally my kind of game, but I'm hesitating in pulling the trigger.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Divinity: Original Sin
I got to the part where you're trying to solve the murder and trying to get to the suspects hideout. I'm getting destroyed in battle by everything while trying to make it there. I've gotta figure something out. I've gotta find my one chick a bow somewhere so she can shoot some arrows at these archers. They're the ones that seems to be doing the most damage.Comment

Got it on XBOX this morning, played a couple of hours, totally worth the 60 bucks for me, really loving the game.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Re: Divinity: Original Sin
It's a cool game, but **** was kind of hard. My dudes were getting destroyed in battles. I don't think I put together my squad well or something. I sent it back to Gamefly the other day.Comment

Lucky me they have an easy mode called "explorer", lol. I'm all about that in RPG's.Comment

Re: Divinity: Original Sin
I'm about 30 hours in, this game is quickly moving up my list in terms of all time favorites. How high it ultimately finishes will be determined by the quality of the story the rest of the way, but the exploration and combat mechanics are among my favorite ever. When exploring and fighting you've got to use everything in your toolbox and the game allows for a lot creative solutions to win various encounters.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Re: Divinity: Original Sin
My wife and I couch co op this game and we were pretty happy with it. We beat it but it took us about 90 hours. It unfortunately is not a very intuitive game (which is alright) but the lack of markers for missions is quite a pain in the ***. I don't know if we would have beat it without going online and finding the last blood/star stone we needed to complete the game.Comment

I'd rather have to look something up if I'm really stumped, as opposed to just following around quest compasses mindlessly all the time.Comment

Re: Divinity: Original Sin
Guys- Is this game similar to x-com in the sense that if you lose a character in a battle he/she is gone for good? I know very little about this and just picked up the ultimate x-com game on steam which has enemy unknown/enemy within and some dlc for $10. Just curious if the games are very similar.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

No. This is more like a turn based baldurs gate or a fallout with a party type game.
