Do like me me and buy digital cards on sale. Then use those for digital purchases. I just bought the Best Buy deal where I got $100 in Xbox Live money for $76. I used that $100 to get The Division Gold digital for $76.

Most people don't trade in games. With a few clicks or button presses I can play any number of 550 games in my steam library or 90 or so games on my Xbox One, and now with games like Quantum Break I could potentially stop playing on my One and then pick up where I left off on my PC.

As someone who doesn't typically trade in games, all of that is valuable to me, even at the occasional markup (I don't buy a lot of games day 1). Even more so w/ 2 toddlers running around.

Games I'm hesitant about I'll redbox (The Order), refund on Steam (Ashes of the Singularity) or wait (lots of stuff). We also don't buy movies physically anymore, if it can't wait for Netflix, HBOGo, etc then we buy it on Amazon Prime digitally and can watch it anywhere, share it with our kids' Kindles, etc.

It's not for everyone, and few of these tangents convince anyone otherwise, that's for sure.

        same here.
I think I'm a video game hoarder, don't like trading or selling games, unless I no longer have the system anymore.

I've been digital on PC for years, some games I had a disc for, I bought Digital again just so I wouldn't have to mess with the discs anymore.
Went Digital on Xbox One, got a 4TB pocket-size drive to start out, small enough to easily carry around if I want to go over to someone else's house and bring my games.

I agree and am pretty sure it's been officially stated somewhere that the DLC is all within the first year after release. Who knows beyond that point, I'm pretty sure they'll have more during year two.

Yep that's another reason why I won't buy digital for now. Why should I pay $18 or so extra when I can drive 4 miles down the street and pick up the game for $42. Or get it shipped to my house, free of charge, etc.

Amazing too considering digital removes the manufacturing and shipping costs of a physical copy.... yet it's more expensive.

Nope, no thanks. Lol. I love going Amazon. I get off work, hit the gym, and by the time I get home my game is waiting for me at the front door.

Plus, I love that new game smell

I picked up this game for PC (digital) at $42. If you're on PC, there's a decent chance an authorized reseller has a pre order or early adopter sale.

                      Crap, loot trading. Ugh.......

Hopefully its limited to just your squad like D3 was.

Also Survival, "Can you find enough supplies to survive across New York or will you succumb to the temptation to go rogue?" Wait so is this like the whole map becoming a darkzone with added survival elements (Needing water and food?)

Also Last Stand will be amazing. Hopefully theres some OSers still playing by that time so we can destroy everyone. Reminds me of GEARS Hoard mode with the building defenses and such.

That's what I'm seeing on Reddit, that it is heavily restricted to squads only.

I went digital gold myself. My best guess is that Microsoft and Sony don't want to step on the toes of their partners. Gamestop, BestBuy etc. If they offer the digital games for say 49.99, that would cause a substantial deficit in their bottom-line. Those expansions look really good. It's Christmas in March! I feel like a little kid. Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday!

I am really looking forward to all of the planned DLC. I'm assuming incursions are similar to a raid or maybe a strike type thing. Pretty solid end game content IMO

And keep in mind GCU does work with PC games. 20% and rewards certs. Physical PC games are kind of a pain but its hard to argue with buying a game day one for $38.

A lot of physical copies actually come with a key for one of the platforms. Decent chance The Division comes with a uplay key.

For me GCU would be $50 after tax with a $10 cert so it's pretty close.
