Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
- April: Free Incursion Update - In game activity that puts you and your squad against a unstoppable force. Rewards you with powerful new weapons and equipment.
- May: Free Conflict Update - Change the way you play in the dark zone and add a new Incursion.
- June: Expansion 1 'Underground" - Descend into the sewers to save what remains. Deadly enemies are regrouping, how deep can your team go?
- Summer: Expansion 2 "Survival' - Will you find enough essential supplies throughout New York to survive and secure High Tech equipment or succumb to the temptation of going Rogue?
- Winter: Expansion 3 'Last Stand' - You and your squad must defend against a new foe. Recruit other agents and build defenses to help you hold the line.
New Feature being added like:
Loot Trading
Gear Sets
Darkzone Updates
My Thoughts- -Incursions do seem like a raid type game type.
- -Conflict seems very interesting. Wonder what they mean by "Change the way you play in the dark zone? Also another Incursion in 1 month is pretty awesome.
- -Underground can seem like a survival mode to me. Like it asks how deep can your squad go? Is it basically unlimited and you get rewards based on how far you make it?
- -Survival wording is very interesting. Like I said before does it make the whole map a Dark Zone? "Gather supplies and secure high tech equipment THROUGHOUT New York or will you succumb to the temptation of going rogue?" They never say Darkzone, hmmm.
- -Last Stand will be fun especially like I said if there are a few more OSers to play with. Never said a Player count so who knows. (Also could be where they could stick a zombie type mode into the game without pissing people off that dont want them)

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
The following was extracted from the Ubi blog regarding the year one DLC content, gives some additional insight:
Here is the quoted extract from UbiBlog.
The Division’s epidemic-ravaged streets will be yours to explore when it launches on March 8, but the experience won’t end there. For starters, as you match wits with vicious gangs and try to restore order to Manhattan, you’ll be able to pursue new daily and weekly missions, as well as Dark Zone events that will potentially put you in the crosshairs of Rogue Agents.
Additionally, two free updates, available to all players, will hit in the months following launch. Beginning in April, the Incursions update will add an endgame activity designed for squad play, challenging teams of four players to face nigh-unstoppable enemies for high-level loot. Also coming with the Incursions update is loot trading. Players in the same squad will be able to trade loot that’s collected during their co-op game session. The Conflict update will follow in May, adding new Dark Zone feature and an incursion into New York’s Columbus Circle.
Three paid expansions are also planned throughout the year, and will be available to players with a Season Pass or to those who buy the Gold or Collector’s Edition of the game. In June, the Underground expansion will send you to hunt enemies in the vast mazes of tunnels and subways that run under Manhattan. Underground will be followed by Survival later in the summer, which will challenge you to survive for as long as possible in a very hostile environment while gathering supplies and equipment. Finally, Last Stand will arrive along with winter, challenging players with a new, relentless threat.XBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Buy just one digital game and see how convenient it is to not have to get up and find a disc and remove the old game, insert the new game and then have it load up versus just clicking on an icon and going into the game immediately and you will see the benefit.
Yes if you buy a game and beat it, turn around and sell it or trade it in quickly then going digital is probably not for you. Because if so you can probably get $40 for a game that's not very old.
But for me, I only buy games I play for a long time, games like The Division, Rainbow Six Siege, Diablo, etc and by the time I'm done with them their trade in value is equivalent to about a Big Mac so I'd rather keep them.
It really depends upon how you game but for me digital is how I try to buy whenever possible.
Plus, my wife started to hate seeing my large cache of XB1/Ps4 game boxes around. Now I can tell her, "No honey, don't worry, I only own like 3 games, see only 3 game boxes."
LOL not...I have over 60 games but you can't see them cause they are stored on my 2TB HDD. hahaComment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Amazing too considering digital removes the manufacturing and shipping costs of a physical copy.... yet it's more expensive.
Nope, no thanks. Lol. I love going Amazon. I get off work, hit the gym, and by the time I get home my game is waiting for me at the front door.
Plus, I love that new game smell

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
DLC looks awesome... Just wondering how much of that can be played solo?

Basically, one DLC pack is solo the other 2 are multiplayer. I will continue to watch this thread to see how the solo element of the game pans out.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Was hoping Ubi would do something like this to give those on the fence about the season pass, like me, reason enough to go ahead and dive in....and they succeeded. Kudos to them.
