Areas that you need a specific filter level to get into without taking damage over time (dictated by the mask you wear). For the Darkzone, it's where loot chests and most NPC encounters are found.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Definitely looking forward to playing this next week but im holding off on the season pass as it seems to be heavily focused on PvP which I honestly have no interest in. Instead of a Destiny type game, I was really hoping The Division to be a single player game where they add DLC every month of other states and eventually, other countries to see how the pandemic is being handled elsewhere since I seriously doubt that it would be somehow contained to just NY.Last edited by daniel77733; 03-04-2016, 04:49 AM.Comment

As someone who also hates the concept of buying digital, if I could go back in time I would have 100% taken the percieved value hit and bought Destiny digital. If you think this game will be that game like Destiny was with me where it won't spend more than a couple of days out of your system, having it digital is more than worth any actual or percieved hit.Comment

If you're planning on buying the gold edition, there's no real reason to buy physical at that point.
But if you're doing the wait and see approach, you may be better off renting, or watching streamers.Comment

Anywho, any time I'm this excited for a game always reminds me how stupid Tuesday releases are. Release these games on Friday dammit. Lol.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
What is an Incursion and are you planning to develop more over the course of the year?
An Incursion is a PvE end-game activity for a group of four players at max level. Incursions require preparation and coordination as they are extremely challenging. The first incursion will be available in the first free update. More Incursions are in development, but it is too soon to talk about these without spoiling them
Ahead of Tom Clancy's The Division launch, we learn more about what the season pass and extra content for the game has in store.

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
The whole idea of digital as a distribution medium is to cut costs. If digital ever decides to get cheaper than physical media, maybe I'll go that route. I do understand the convenience aspect, as well, I just don't personally give that benefit a lot of weight.
Something like Steam only really works, though, because there is no physical media in that space. Most PC games nowadays are digital only. Lots of low-key independent developers and self-publishers. If the consoles ever go that way I'll definitely be disappointed, although I really don't see them cutting prices just because costs have gone down.
Plus I still believe internet reliability and speed has a ways to go, at least here in the U.S. Monopolies have stagnated progress and inflated costs. That and hard drive capacity limits hurt digital-only consumers.
More related to the Division: I'd like to see Incursions that require more than four people. I think anytime you can expand the space and get more people working together, the experience gets that much better (at least in theory). At the very least have some way to setup instances to get more than four friends in one area.Comment
