I was able to play for a little over 2 hours last night and had a blast. This game makes time fly extremely fast though because you get so engrossed. I saw there was about 30 of my friends playing but I really wanted to play solo so I made my game private and just went at it.

Can you play this game solo and have fun? hell yes you can!

But one caveat, you better be pretty good because I tried running the first mission (rescue the doctor) and although I came close I was unable to finish it on normal difficulty. Just so many waves of dudes, lol.

I am just about level 5 and will look to play some multi-player this weekend or maybe tomorrow but I really want to get my character a bit leveled up to maybe 7 or 8 before I do that.

Game is just exactly what I had hoped it would be from playing the betas!@

I did the same thing solo, made it through hospital on normal. Tried another medical mission in department store with some other fellas, holy cow it was hard, we all gave up after an hour of getting asses kicked. Did the tunnel mission successfully solo as well. Man the level of detail in this game is awesome. Made it to level 7 last night. Want to finish other base mission tonight to have all 3 unlocked. When you do upgrades in the different wings, are those just skills you get automatically, or something you have to activate while playing? I also did several side missions, only one was bugged, think it was called saving bryan, or something like that? you have to hold off rioters, killed all the rioters and nothing happen? I love how you feel like you are in big city of New York, the scale is awesome. I had gold edition so got extra outfits, as well as downloaded some of ubi items using their points and free. For those of you have seen the movie or old enough to have seen it, went for kind of a look; "Apocalypse Now" based on John Conrad's Heart of Darkness book, character Lt. Col. Bill Kilgore (Robert Duvall) from the movie.

I said it before and I'll say it again. The ability to jump into a game with a buddy when their in the middle of a mission is just phenomenal.

My buddy was playing the subway mission and was pinned down trying to exit the subway. He texted me and asked to join him, but I didn't have a lot of free time. I jumped in, helped him out for 20 min and jumped out after completing it with him. I ended up getting credit for it in my own game which is just great.

Can't wait to get back on today.

I'm just saddened I have to wait like a month before I play this game, and by then everybody here will be well past me with all of their stuff.

This game is so good, it wouldn't surprise me if you could get a crew to create a 2nd character to rise up through the ranks with you.

Got in a few missions this morning, ended up with a bad case of 'one more side mission'.

Completed a JTF assist defending some stuff, and then a rare rolled up on the area, yikes. 4 levels higher (14 v 18) and he proceeded to murder all the JTF one by one. In that time I was able to get his level 18 entourage mostly down and his armor mostly gone. Not sure I'd have been able to pull it off if I didn't have the JTF speed bumps and him being one of the ranged machine gun guys so he kept his distance. Kept nearly one-shotting me when I'd get sloppy. Dropped a couple of blues for me to consider in a couple levels.

Fun times, if you find yourself mowing through things and getting bored, try moving to the next area... makes your ability to manage damage, enemies, cover, etc. much more important.

I will get it by end of the day. Passing on the season pass as the trailer really seems to push MP and dark zone as parts of it. Even more so than the written preview. Which is fine. Still can't believe I'm breaking down and getting this lol

I wonder if at some point we'll get the ability to matchmake for an number of missions, or does anyone know if that's possible now (ie, im 14, queue for all 12-14 content, toggle for hard/normal, etc)

Guess it doesn't go w/ the story, but still seems odd we can't clan/guild up in-game.

You're not as hardcore a online gamer, more offline now I think, so it'll give me a good idea if I'd enjoy it.

This or Quantum Break might be my summer game, not sure....

I did not like the beta at all. I always loved the setting and the gameplay, but hated the "Destiny" feel of being an online only RPG. I'm also extremely weak when it comes to videogames and try to talk myself out of them LOL.

I hardly ever play online, but this is co-op so I'm sure I'll do it more than normal. Won't care at all about the Dark Zone though, doesn't interest me at all.

But if it was me, I would go Quantum Break if you're only doing one, it looks fantastic.
