    Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

Has anyone determined if parties are ruined regarding friends with varying gear scores?

My gear score currently is 163, which means I'm now one of the little fish in the big boy DZ. But if say Birdman or Shando are under 160 (I have no idea at the moment), does that mean we're no longer able to team up unless I drop down or they jump up?

I was wondering this as well. Is there a list of the bands anywhere?

Its the player that plays for an hour or when they get a chance that you have to keep around to keep the game alive. This is where destiny failed horrifically. Hardcore players love that game now, but their population is limited and not growing. That person is not going to wait around for the next change they are just going to walk away. The first wave of people are already walking away from this game because of the repetitive enemies.

Making a big change like this early in the game cycle and putting a further divide between the haves and the have nots and is very dangerous and feels like too much of a knee jerk reaction. And I'm speaking from a standpoint of one of the haves.
Giving more loot, and better loot at that, is what this recent patch does and its specifically geared towards keeping the casual players around more than anyone else. In regards to the level 75 aspect that I believe you're referring to, the hardcore players have to have something to strive for and that is it.

Logged in with a gear score of 180. Hoping to buy two gear set items and the lvl 32 backpack right away

This update seems like a lot of good things, but I haven't played too mudh yet so maybe there's aspects I'm missing

          Haven't seen the incursion yet

Slowly moving up. Had a pair of high end gloves I was just waiting to reroll with credits. That bumped me up to 166. Get in the DZ and buy some better gear and I should be able to jump 15-20 points.

Unfortunately no friends are on the game right now, so I can't tell where they rate score-wise, nor can I test out entering as a party with the 160 DZ bracket.

              4.9 GB update - that's a big update.

Question - I've only been playing for a couple days. What is the best sniper rifle?

Also, these assignments are turning out easy so far. Daily assignments are already almost done, and just have kill 50 cleaners in the DZ and 10 missions on hard or challenging to wrap up the weekly.

Looks like the assignments will rotate between high end Division Tech, DZ exp and Phoenix Credits. The hard daily missions also now give you 5 blue crafting materials each for weapon parts, electronics, fabric and tools.

Thank God for the Instant On power option on Xbox. Update downloaded sometime before I got on two hours ago, was able to jump right in. I hated that on the 360, jump on to play a game, then sit there waiting for a big *** update to download and install.

I'm thinking if it comes down to it you could just put some of your gear in the stash to bring your score down or just have a set in your stash for that gear level.

In thinking that might be what I do on my second character. Build him to be the highest in the first bracket and have my primary built to be the vast he can. Any good gear I would send from one character to the other.

Are the drop rates and quality the same in the two bands?

Yeah, only problem is I usually instantly sell or deconstruct my gear as I get new and better gear. So I'll have to go back and find some lower leveled gear that fits my build that would be able to drop my score. I'm not very far over the dividing line, just one or two pieces of gear should be enough to drop me down to the high 150s.

Of course who knows, I ended up on the plus side of 160, so you guys may as well. I supposed we'll find out tonight.

But you get some PC and DT with them as well.

We will see. Spent last night taking care of my son who was throwing up and of course I throw up this morning when I get up so I mighty not even be on tonight. Just might go straight to bed after work.

But I might log on just to check my gear score see where I'm sitting.

Ran some bosses in DZ03, went rogue a few times and massacred some poor bastards, and got massacred ourselves a few times.

Me and Birdman apparently have a race going on. I've extracted three Midas so far from the DZ, Birdman has two or three as well. Apparently the Midas really likes us both.

And got to end the night on an ******* note, lol. Looking for one last hurrah with about 5 minutes left before the server shut down, I ran up to the left extraction point in DZ01. Some lone guy called in the chopper, I was kind enough to help him kill the NPCs rushing the zone, then right as he ran to the rope to extract, I fired a BFB sticky bomb at his feet and completely destroyed him with the blast, never had to fire a single bullet. Then extracted the couple purple crap he had just because I could, lol.
