    Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

<hr> From the very beginning of development, our emphasis has always been on the player experience and how good we want it to be. We have great plans for the future of The Division, and for these to succeed we must make sure to provide a smooth high-quality experience. Unfortunately, the gameplay experience was recently impaired by in-game bugs and players violating the rules of the game. In order to bring back a better and healthier environment, we have taken new steps to address the situation.
    Cheat Engines

Cheating players have been an issue for a number of you in the Dark Zone, and we’ve heard this feedback loud and clear. We are strengthening our efforts to address this problem, as described below.
First, we have implemented new cheat detection methods that have allowed us to identify many more players currently using cheat engines in the game. We have already caught more cheaters in the last few days than we had in total during the previous weeks. As a result, we will be handing out the biggest wave of suspensions and bans to date over the course of the next few days.
Second, when cheaters are caught, we will now apply a suspension of 14 days on first offense (instead of the previous 3 day initial suspension). Second offense will always be a permanent ban.
We anticipate these two changes will noticeably improve your experience. New upgrades on cheat detection are underway.
    Bug Exploits

    What is a bug exploit?
An exploit is the active triggering and use of a bug or glitch to bypass established game rules in order to gain a significant advantage or skip progression steps otherwise necessary.
Identifying and fixing bugs before releasing new content is one of the most important parts of game development. This is also the best way to guarantee a smooth and enjoyable experience for our players. Learning from the past and your great feedback, we are currently reviewing our development and testing process to further minimize the amount and impact of these bugs going forward.
Unfortunately, we cannot simulate the experience that millions of different players will have, and how they will play the game. As a result, some bugs may make it through testing, and may be present when an update is deployed. In the event that a bug makes it into the game, and this bug can be used by players to gain an advantage, we need to be able to react and fix it, but also dissuade players from exploiting this bug until it is fixed. This is why moving forward we will adopt a stronger stance against players abusing exploits.
Our first step is to give you clearer and more concrete visibility. Should new bugs be discovered, we will quickly confirm if these are considered exploits. All known exploits will be clearly listed in a public forum thread and across our various communication platforms. We want all players to be informed. This will ensure that those caught after an exploit was confirmed are aware of the consequences and actions that can be taken against them.
Second, sanctions will be implemented for players who repeatedly abuse exploits and will vary depending on the severity of the abuse, as well as the history of the player. Possible sanctions include character rollbacks, account suspensions and permanent bans. Those who encounter bugs during the normal course of play have absolutely nothing to worry about.
As mentioned earlier, providing a high-quality experience is our priority. Fixing game bugs is one aspect of it, and we are improving our processes to address that. Dissuading players from impairing others’ gameplay by violating the rules of the game is another aspect. We also want to give you better visibility and transparency. We are fully committed to providing an enjoyable and fair environment for all our players, and will take all steps necessary to achieve this goal.
    See you in game!
    The Division Team
The exploits thing is pretty unacceptable, I'm not going to play a game where I have to be paranoid and check forums and reddit just in case something is considered by them to be an exploit.

These guys just continue to look like massive (pun intended) idiots. At least they had the courtesy of adding junk to the BO special gear vendor restock so I don't regret blowing 1600 PC on the AUG and Socom last week.

Hit 40 in destiny last night thanks massive for making my decision on what game to play tonight an easy one.

Yeah, pretty PO'd right now, logged on to hit up the dailies, only to find they're non existant... AGAIN.

Still not able to start daily missions half the time, as the gates remain closed etc. on some until you try to start it for the 3rd or 4th time.

It's getting ridiculous. I'm getting ready to shelf it for a while. Too many issues, not enough to do. Just... getting bored.

It's disappointing. It sucks seeing people I've played with since the first private beta not even interested in logging in anymore but I can't blame anyone

It's a loot game with a loot problem and an "endgame game" with an endgame problem

We got a 4 man going again tonight and it was awesome, love playing with the fellas. That's what makes it so sad to me, this game is fun, there is a lot of fun to be had, there is so much potential I really hope they fix all the issues with the current state of the game

We did run the Lexington challenge mission grind to get out pcs up. Our last 6 runs were averaging 11 mins a pop, our best was 9 mins 10 seconds. Melt City. Definitely best way to get your PC maxed

Yea it was fun last night.

That was our best challenge speed, 9 min?

I could've sworn we knocked one out in about 6 or 7 minutes.

But yea it was melt city and very fun too. I like how towards the end it was getting late and we were tired and started making mental missteps lol.

We did go faster than 9 after I wrote that. We did like 3 more runs after I wrote that post and one of them was like 8 mins or something I didn't write it down though (was super tired)

Basically if the stuns are keeping up with the DPS then no mob on that mission stands a chance

Need people to grind dark zone with. My gear score is 142. Seems like everyone is 190+. But I don't play that much.

Good session tonight, we dominated the incursion a few times, about 36 mins a pop, did the Lexington PC grind, and hit dz at the end. Just hit 74, hope to get 75 tomorrow or Monday

We had a few really exciting rogue hunts were we took them down but then our group got transitioned to a new server and we ran into a group of 4 dz99 guys with the "uber smg pvp build" I've heard about from the PC guys. With the shield ultimate I was melted (I have 90k health, which isn't terrible not the best I know) in less than 3 seconds.

I'm jealous of those guys man, they are super strong. I wish I had the drive to grind all my gear to that level of killing machine

                          Good day though.

It's kind of sad... I feel sorry for any late adopters to this game. My second character, is only level 11, so I wanted to get it levelled up so I can double my pc's for my main. I was level 7 last night and got it up to 11, but damn near impossible to find anyone to matchmake with randomly that isn't already 30 which I assume it wont pair me up with. It took a good 20 minutes to find anyone. Unless of course, that was a server issue, which wouldnt surprise me.

What system are you on? If you are on X1 I would gladly play with you on your alt. As I just started a couple of weeks ago and I'm like level 4 or 5.

I'm also on Xbox and not too far in. Have one buddy I play with regularly as of now. I don't seem to have trouble playing with randoms though. Well getting matched up anyways.
