I'm in need of some help, I trying to take down a captain who is immune to range, stealth, and combat. His only weakness is explosions, but I can never find a spot with enough explosions to take him down. Did I mention he has poison spears?

Super annoying baddie.

I ran into a captain who was immune to everything.
I had to use the stun strike then the wrath strike but stop before the combat modifier was active beaux he was immune.

Stun, 5 sword strikes, stun, 5 sword strike etc...

Poison never did bother me. If anything if I got poisoned I just said cool, this isn't going to prevent me from getting in your butt. Nobody is immune to being stunned. That was my go to move on everybody. Stun them, then bust a 12 hit combo on their butt and finish with an execution strike.

Some people are actually resistant to the stun ability. You can get it to work, but sometimes if they're high ranking captain or warchief with a shield, you'll need to roll around a bit while they're attacking, get them from behind.

I'm having some REAL fun with the branding ability I unlocked.

Nothing more fun than going to stomp a warchief who thinks he's all tough stuff with his three bodyguards in tow, tapping the right button and BAM they all turn on him.

I just hop over them and stun them in the back. Once I unlocked the automatic stun when you hop over somebody, the game became 5 times easier because you can pretty much hop around the entire group and have 15 guys stunned at the same time.

That's true. But I seem to get a lot of uruk captains that can block that vault ability. Luckily, they can't block the Wraith Flash. So I just hit that, then vault on them cut 'em down like weeds.

Lol, these orcs, whether they are captains or warchiefs, are such babies when you expose a fear. I'm at the part of the game where you have to kill the 4 warchiefs and I was up against one that was scared of fire. So I led him to a bonfire and shot it, he took off running out of his stronghold and I chased him all over Mordor. I eventually caught him and got the easy kill.

I want this so bad but I can't bring myself to pick it up at the $60 price tag. I have such a backlog of games I just don't see when I will have time to squeeze it into my current rotation

I'm at 12 hours in and only 20% done. Having way too much fun with the nemesis system. Took on an entire compound last night from above.

Just when I try to get into the main mission more, I get sidetracked killing orcs. Easily my game of the year.

The only reason I picked it up now is I had a $25 reward certificate for bestbuy. I am with you about trying to fit games into my rotation. Diablo 3 I only played for a few hours and loved it but it is not in my rotation (been meaning to pick it back up). I have FIFA, Madden, Forza Horizon 2, Destiny and now this. I need a break haha.

Depending on if you actually keep the games once you finish them, you can always buy Mordor for $60 and trade it in to Best Buy for $40. $25 is a steal in my opinion.

As for not having the time, I realize that gamers who say that play mainly sports games which takes up the majority of their time and I know, I used to be the same way generations ago but I missed out on too many great games to repeat that process now.

I say put all those games on hold and buy Mordor. I put in about 55 hours in a span of six days overall. It's that good.

I so freakin weak!!!!! I caved and went Digital. I'm so ashamed. I wish I had the strength to stay away from OS for 6 months, imagine the amount of money I would save.

Gaming gods give me the strength to just say no for once????

You won't regret the purchase. Granted, it's not saying much but Mordor is easily the game of the year thus far. The nemesis system pretty much makes the game endless if you so choose. Damn good game.

This game is the best game I've played on Next-Gen period!!! Can't believe so many have slept on this game.

Surprised that several thought it was easy or it could be I'm just not that good lol. I'm being chased all over the place and running for my life.

Controls felt a little wonky at first but now I'm starting to get comfortable and settled down some.

I honestly hate that I started this game because it looks like Diablo will go on the back burner for a while

Been playing this for about 30 minutes so far, it is awesome! Like Flight said, got to get used to the controls. Few questions: who do you interrogate? Just the guys with the intel symbol?
