One tiny complaint: it should be a little bit harder in single player. You are often moving around at night, with people patroling everywhere. Someone catches a glimpse of you and they go to investigate. But they don't have a flashlight.

Even the fattest, laziest nightwatchmen in this country have a flashlight!

I know that the game gets progressively harder, but I am playing on Hard already. It is just a little too easy to hide when someone investigates. Not every guard should have a flashlight, but a few should.

                        Re: Splinter Cell Pandora Impressions

These are my impressions. Keep in mind they are coming from a big time FPS player. I play a lot of halflife, halo, quake, unreal, etc. online.

If you are big into FPS quick paced gameplay... this game isn't very fun online. Especially not as a spy. It sucks being a spy because you are pretty much defenseless. I've found the mercenaries are definitely more my style of play, but something about the slow paced 2v2 stuff just hasn't grabbed me yet.

I do like the single player so far though. I have died a lot, but I get a little further after each death as I figure out better tactics, such as shooting out lights and stuff.

being a good spy online just takes practice...I'm nowhere near great yet, but you can learn to hide, get the objectives, and occasionally kill/knock out a merc...I see where you're coming from though, for those looking for non stop halo-ish fps gameplay being a spy isn't too fun. Personally, I like the strategy in it all. Plus as a spy it's fun to be in a great hiding spot, and keep shocking the mercs, when they can't see you. Make 'em wonder where the hell you are
