Re: No Man's Sky
Galaxy = Euclid ( I think we're all in the same galaxy? )
Solar System = Mollusk which consists of 6 Class F Planets. One of them called Tanier, my home personal planet.
Light Years Away from the Center = 172342.2
Anyone know what Region stands for?Last edited by Picci; 08-21-2016, 01:46 PM.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
I believe the regions, are the part of the galaxy you are in (if it is, which is more than likely, how we describe space). Space is a partial vacuum and is identified by various regions based on various atmosphere, and 'winds' that are in them.
So we all start in the Euclid galaxy, but in different regions of said galaxy, and different solar/star systems within said regions.
Keep in mind, a black hole is a gamble... so it can either push your further when you were getting closer, or push you much closer as well, from what I read from other player experiences since launch.Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 08-21-2016, 01:51 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: No Man's Sky
Could someone clarify the upgrade levels order? Sigma, Theta, I'm guessing Beta is that the correct order? And are they compatible with each other or should I dismantle the lowest? ThanksComment

Are all 12 systems in the same Euclid galaxy? I calculated your light years. You sir, are 2286. 7 light-years closer than I am.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
1.04 Patch Notes:
Straight from the mouth of Hello Games, the following changes have been made:
Stranded in Space Station
If you died in your ship while in atmosphere of a planet with a damaged ship, you could respawn in a space station with your launch thrusters and pulse engine damaged. If you did not have the resources to fix them then you could no longer take off and be stuck there. This will no longer happen.
Loading Corrupted Save Files
Some players have corrupted save files, we’ve been working with them to still load saves even if they are corrupted (this can happen for many reasons outside of the games control). This fix has allowed many players to still load their save even if they have become corrupt on PC.
Crash fixes for next three most commonly reported issues:- As the player gathers a huge amount of discoveries, there was a threading issue that becomes more prevalent the more discoveries you have, and could cause the game to crash.
- If you had collected a large number of blueprints, in a specific order it was possible to crash the game when you received a new blueprint. This has been fixed.
- Players who set a large number of waypoints could find themselves in a situation where they could crash the game in the Galactic Map, this is remedied now (PS. A better waypoint system is coming).
Hello Games is also preparing to release another No Man’s Sky update next week, and will begin testing the changes on Monday.Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 08-21-2016, 02:24 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: No Man's Sky
I went and looked up references about Regions in space. They'e pretty much a fictitious phrase that's used. Well, this is a Si-Fi game. However, I was able to find Star Trek Fictitious Regions if you want to fantasize.
But I think you are right. They may be talking the fictional parts of, if we ever had space travel like in SciFi movies, regions would be named next... like "The Outer Rim" in Star Wars, etc..
- T1: Sigma
- T2: TAU
- T3: Theta
- T4: Omega
For some reason it does not follow the Greek Alphabet's proper order, but that could be their choice or the system bugging and putting it in modern English Alphabet order.Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 08-21-2016, 02:42 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
