On my starter planet I found what appears to be an outpost. To go inside I had to destroy the iron door. So, I started to 'melee' the door and the Sentinals were alerted. I ran away and jumped into my sihp and flew away. Anyone else discover locked iron doors like this. Maybe I should go back and check it out - if I can find it again.

those are manufacturing facilities, inside is a panel with a bit of a riddle and if you get the right answer you get a crafting blueprint

Yes, I blast them open, and if the sentinels get too annoying, they have joined the fray. And looted some nice modules needed in the future from them to boot.

There are usually crafting BP's.

To be fair, this might be a PS4 thing now, since all games recently have been saying that. It seemed to 'lag' when they had large lists. DOOM does it, MLB The Show does it, Uncharted 4 does it, LEGO Star Wars, Destiny did it since a month after launch, practically all games now I noticed.

You have to go to their community sites for the notes. HG has yet to post it on their site like they did (1.03), but I am sure it is incoming. He has been active letting us know their status on Twitter.

They also confirmed with a few sites, this is the first of 2. There is another next week. This one (1.04) weighs in at 605.4mb if anyone is interested.

Odd how it varies from person to person.

Had only 2 (both on the 2nd day, hours apart) since launch. Did a 'Rebuild Database', and maybe it is placebo, but have not had any since. It has been 7 days in a row crash free. *knocks on silicon*

Gonna test this patch hard with the 4.00 beta firmware when I get home.

Last 3 planets I have discovered have had crazy hostile aggressive species and wild weather.

The variety is there. Keep exploring!!!

There's one blueprint machine in one outpost that causes a crash 100% of the time for me other than that I've had very few crashing problems.

And if anyone's looking for a challenging planet check out TB12 in the Belistar system. Storms there are relentless and there's lots of aggressive wildlife.

Crazy how fast Sony approved the patch. Sucks that some games have to wait a week or more

Yeah I've enjoyed the PC patch since almost release, it's great from a performance perspective w/ my 980Ti. 0 stuttering or hitching.

Yeah I'm impressed. If the game had just launched like this 6 days ago there would have been a lot less backlash PC side. I wonder if people will chance their steam reviews

Glad this patch is out and hopefully addresses the crashes. I have averaged 2-3 per playing session (average playing time 3 hours).

I can't wait for continued support over the course of the coming years to add content to what is already an addicting game.

So far we have stayed on the Atlas path but have also added the Black Hole path.

The last two systems we have discovered have been volatile and brutal. Really wild adventures are happening right now as we struggle to find Copper right now. We are trying to upgrade our hyper-drive to be able to warp deeper than just one system at a time. I am also starting to figure out which upgrades I truly value on my multi-tool, Exo-Suit and Ship and I may breakdown a few and replace them with new ones which are starting to fit my playing style which is evolving.

I have become quite the accomplished Pirate dog fighter. I may take to more space battles and defense of my trading allies freighter's now that I am confident in my flying and combat skills and the fact my ship The "Sword Searcher" is becoming a powerful weapon in space dog fighting.

It is quite exhilarating (as well a nice change of pace) to be on far more hostile planets trying to mine resources while battling predators and harsh elements. A lot more new photo's of our journey are forth coming this weekend in the photography thread!

The adventure continues on the Atlas Path......

Have you tried any of the suggestions, or submitted the instances to their support link?

These one sentence responses, repeating yourself, does not give us much while trying to help.
