Also, lawyers didn't ruin NCAA Football. If you're looking for someone to blame look in the direction of the NCAA/EA Sports. If you want people to be in your game you should pay them to do so.

*I'm not a lawyer and agree that most people in the US will not think of Sky News when they think of NMS. I think this may be different in the UK. Just wanted to try to help a few people understand what is an understandably complicated legal situation.

I think we can all agree there was no shortage of greed with regards to NCAA football. EA, NCAA, lawyers, plaintiffs, not an innocent bystander among them.

Let's a least try to talk about No Man's Sky, LOL. I am just as guilty but let's get this train back on the tracks, please.

Well the good news is, that this might have been the main reason for the delay, and they just used some extra time for polish. I am hoping to hear some VR announcements for it after PSVR/Neo launches.

              Spoiler

From the few gameplay videos I've seen it looks like quite a few of the planets have similar terrains and in general look somewhat similar. Is it possible they've been showing off the same handful of planets in these videos?

I've been going back and forth on whether I want to get this on day one but for now I've decided to wait for a price drop and see everyone else's reactions. The hype around this game is bound to let quite a few people down.

They said they boosted that for the videos. The final game is to be very diverse, it will be a lot of variance.

It's kind of depressing that we would all be playing this game right now if it didn't get delayed.

Very true... however, the bright-side is my backlog.

I'm all caught up on the games I enjoy. I'm basically playing PSN games to pass the time now.

My backlog is pretty long but there are truly only a few games on it that I am really wanting to play right now.

I used to be like this until I finally figured out what games I truly like.

It's hard at times because a lot of games sound great but I know what will end up happening.

Very true, and I have started doing this now after 30+ years of gaming. Prioritizing what I will play 'day one', and including time reserved for gaming into that equation as well. There are good games I have skipped, because of knowing that I will not have time for the ones I truly would sink into if so.

And then if there is time down the road, those can be picked up on the cheap. (Hence that I got Bloodborne recently for $15). Still have yet to play it, or even open it rather, but I will soon.
