There is a lot of "experience for yourself for the first time" spoilers. On NeoGAF, they were saying they were shocked how much even in the beginning. Tread lightly fellow travelers.

And I'm not sure why Sean Murray seems upset that people are watching the videos. I mean this game was in development for what? almost 4 years? And to be honest they've told us very little. Yes the basics have been covered many times, but I don't blame people for wanting to see it and decide if they would want to buy it.

I would have thought he would be excited that the whole freaking world is talking about this right now.
He is a very passionate and humble man. He wants us all to have an imaginative and personal experience ourselves, like we did in the 80's and 90's before the, 'know everything about a game before you play it', Internet came to be, lol.

That is why he purposefully withheld a lot of information about the game. I believe he just wants us to have that charming magic/excited feeling like we used to as kids. Those 'wow' moments, is all.

Yeah, I'm giving this the "Don't Starve" or Demon/Dark Souls (in its infancy) treatment regarding spoilers and basically assuming everything is a spoiler. Total blackout on reading about this stuff until the game comes out.

I didn't see anything I would consider a spoiler, especially since I won't be seeing anything that guy saw.

I don't consider how to play a game a spoiler. Just imagine, someone playing SMB for the first time.

I guess this is just a game where people have vastly different ways of looking at it. I am glad I watched the video today. Honestly the official footage that the IGN clip has I feel was way more "spoilerly." This was just a guy walking around a planet shooting stuff.

            Re: No Man's Sky

I didn't watch it, so I don't know, but spoiler free impressions on NeoGAF were saying they were seeing things they didn't even know, and were impressed knowing none of it is scripted, etc.. That they can see people wanting the self discovery for a lot of things seen.

But how one feels is going to effect people differently I suppose. All one's perspective.

That's cool, but for me I don't even want to see that. I want to see the first glimpse of that on my 55'' TV in 1080p

The only thing I would, if pushed call a spoiler is
                Spoiler

And, even then, that's something you would discover on your own just as quick, if not even possibly quicker, than the video. Everything else I had seen in a video at some point, you just didn't know how it all comes together in raw gameplay.

                  I feel you guys

I completely understand wanting to go into as unexposed (is that a word? if not, you know what I mean) as possible.

For real, I totally get it. I respect that quite a bit. Honestly I am glad he didn't post more as I feel what we saw was just perfect for what I was looking for as far as affirmation that this is the game I have dreamed about.

Either way, the wait for the 9th (hopefully for PC in NA?) is going to be torture....

Thanks for the impressions JareBear. I am stoked!!!

Got to pick me up some Sony Golds as well to complete the immersion.

Those Golds are beasts. For the price, they are probably my best purchase this gen.

Cool. I have a nice sound system, but I feel this will be better for the immersion factor, as well as I am hoping they will have a possible sound preset with the PS4 app tailored for this like other games do.

I will get Best Buy to price match Amazon's $76, and then burn my $20 cert on it.

I don't feel comfortable using our $600+ studio pair we use for recording and playback, since this seems like it will be played quite often, lol.

These seem the best bang for the buck compared to other gaming headsets for the PS4 would you say?

They are amazing. No idea how they pull off such good sound with stereo and vss.

The footage today IMO was a better video than the 21 minutes they showed to IGN a few months ago. That video had way more spoilers than this video did, IMO. I really think the response has been a tad bit silly by Sean, HG, and the Reddit mods. Just my opinion.

I have watched the video beginning to end 4x. I seriously can't wait to dive in and start digging my own path across the universe.
The scheduled release date for the PC version is August 12th which is two weeks from yesterday. What other info are you waiting for? Requirements?

Already has the requirements... I think he means the reason why the 2 day difference.
