Re: No Man's Sky
I need a mod that helps me find the last species on a planet. Wherever this little dude is must be the most well hidden spot in the universe.Last edited by The JareBear; 08-18-2016, 01:36 PM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: No Man's Sky
Just reporting my experience with the patch. My suggestion would be stop white knighting so much, I posted twice, once saying it's still crashing and another stating it's actually crashing more. People can say something negative about the game, it will be OK.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
You are going to accuse me of 'white knuckling' when I was giving some feedback that had nothing to do with 'defense the game', and has worked for tons of people, like stuttering issues, etc., in other games?
Your copy or PS4 is no different than anyone else's. So if you are not going to attempt to try and fix/troubleshoot an issue with suggestions/feedback given, and sharing results, then repeating yourself is just ad nauseam.
You knew what you were doing, you can tell by the tone of your post just now (since you go from 'my experience' to 'say something negative' in the same post. Dont try and play innocent.Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 08-18-2016, 01:53 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: No Man's Sky
I gave two reports about my experiences with the patch, that just happen to be negative, and you attacked me for repeating myself which was 100% not true since they were two separate statements (still crashing and crashing more).
As for suggestions on how to fix it, unless you are hello games that's not going to happen. Rebuilding the database isn't some panacea.
As for "my copy or ps4 being no different" is kind of the point, others are having crashing issues as well and are likely at work or otherwise disposed considering its the middle of the day, reporting what the patch is doing will hopefully give them an idea of what the patch is or isn't going to do. Reporting on experience with a patch is very common, and you flipping out because it was negative is garbage.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
Warning: more patch experience, ignore if that wads your panties
It seems the game is crashing now when uploading creature data, not even naming so it's not worried about server transfer and it's up for me anyway. So save before trying to upload.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
ran into an issue on PC version for me, all of the planets I've been to now show 100% complete, even though they are not. my journey milestones only shows 2 completed planets.
wondering if I should just start over? between this issue and my starting system just vanishing. not too worried about losing the time I put in already, as this game I will likely play for some time.
I think the whole milestone thing in general might be broke for me. haven't had one in a long time, even ones I know should be increasing by now.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
Burns, I can assure you I am not flipping out.
And there are lots of people not crashing. Next time I will not offer any feedback/help, since you seemingly have it all figured out for yourself, and are not interested in possibly remedying the bad experiences/issues.
Good luck, and I hope it gets resolved for you.

I will find out when I get home and check the starting planet.Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 08-18-2016, 02:14 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: No Man's Sky
Milestones might be broken for me, found that last creature and didn't get a new milestone, need one more ship I'll have to report back if it doesn't go up, it may be patch related
Edit: milestones working here, just didn't upload the 100% found.Last edited by Burns11; 08-18-2016, 02:22 PM.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
I ended up losing about an hour of gold mining as I fell "out of the map" and couldn't get back in.
apparently under the map is invisible water.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
Next time you fall under the map try getting out with your grenade/land disrupter (whatever it is called). I fell under twice and was able to get out both times just blowing holes in the edge of wherever I was."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."
