I am loving this game. I am also getting my butt kicked. Some of the missions I'm finding to be quite hard. Dying a lot. I think I'll try and use cover more. Getting shot up quite a bit. also I have to agree about those pesky Eagles. Sheesh

When one of your command posts is attacked and you're prompted to defend it (as in the random karmic event, not any campaign mission), is it just a karmic event or do you lose that command post if you do nothing?

It'd be awesome if you actually lost it IMO. It'd feel more like an actual war taking place.

Reading reviews, they can't actually recapture them. The only ones that get attacked also are the ones by the giant castles/fortresses I believe also.

Just curious on everyone's plan of attack...

I'm going to disarm all the Bell Towers and secure all the Outposts before I go really deep into the Campaign... However I'm going to hunt first so I can get a bunch of weapons.

One more thing... I thought I read there's a crossbow in the game but I didn't see it listed in weapons menu.

I'm going to do all the Towers to get the weapons. After that I'll probably play a little bit of the story until it leads me too far into uncharted territory then I'll go back to the map clearing stuff. I also want to increase my stealth movement speed ASAP.

Its nice that the weapon attachments are limited. It was way too easy to over take a camp with the sniper rifle and silencer in FC3.

One more thing... I thought I read there's a crossbow in the game but I didn't see it listed in weapons menu.

I cleared the first tower last night. This might be a dumb question, all of the random crap I pick up do I need? I mean I picked up a spork and a user manual, can I just ditch stuff like that?

When you're at the store you can pick the Sell option and do "quick sell" i think it's called. It'll sell all the useless junk you have for cash, then you can decide about the stuff that can be used for crafting or whatever.

But yes, you can ditch it.


I'll be going for towers as well as hunting to make some bags that increase various inventories as possible...I think I have to clear the next mission before I'm completely opened up (just did hostages, have to clear outpost now).

UPS blows man. 2 days late on my release-date delivery package of this, DAI, and GTA. I'll give a pass for TUE due to weather, but roads were absolutely fine yesterday. I hung around all evening waiting yesterday, only to see a tracking update at 9:30 saying it was bad weather again. BS.

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but my phone is being weird and pages aren't loading right. I'm playing on hard and really want to unlock the heavy takedown ability. I have the points and everything ready and just need to do a pagans wrath thing. That has been extremely problematic. I am getting absolutely embarrassed every time I try this, even with a grenade launcher I can't get close enough to do anything without being killed. Does anybody have any suggestions? I don't want to lower the difficulty because that'll make me feel like a bitch.

pretty sure it's a 'signature' weapon - I'm in the process of doing the 4 armoured vehicle escort missions to get a signature sniper rifle

I try to take based and towers as needed to complete the campaign. I haven't successfully taken a fortress yet, but apparently going further in the campaign before you do gives you an advantage.

I also haven't seen the crossbow listed - either it got thrown out or you get it through a mission at some point.

Rhino's are no joke. Took me about 100 bullets to drop one. It almost killed me multiple times.

I also let a elephant lose on a outpost and watched it throw and stomp people to death. I got so much pleasure from that.

Game is just pure fun.
