    Re: Fallout 4

Having so much of a better time second playthrough. Just hit lvl 10, and haven't even made it to Diamond City yet. Made it to level 6 before I left Sanctuary/Red Rocket. Decided to build those up before even heading to Concord, and got a bunch of levels. Sanctuary is set up for a while; I've got like 35 beds, built 2 dormitories/guard towers, have my water and food already in the 20s, have a few turrets set up. My char this time around has been much better, been playing sneakier, and using vats more. Already have action boy and ninja perks, and they've been huge. I've modded a lot more too, and that 10 mm pistol you get in the Vault is still my go to.

I kept that 10mm thru the entire game. Modded it into a silenced burst pistol, thing is lethal in VATS with a banked critical. Good times.

That fight was the only time where I was like, "yep, need to use my Fat Boy today". I'm going to do my next playthrough on the highest difficulty level for sure. The start will be absolute hell, but the mid-late game will be more than destroying every enemy immediately.

i use one of the legendary pistols but my favorite weapon is my night scoped sniper rifle. i think it does about 125 damage. 2x when in sneak mode. love popping heads off stuff with it. add the rifleman perk too. good times.

spent yesterday just looking for bobbleheads... no quests. i found four new ones. gotta love some of the hiding spots in this edition. then there's the ones that i find when i return to a building for a quest. cant be rushing thru places.

tonight i start act 3 and decide on my path for main quest. i think this will have to be played a second time for a different ending. i hope my hunches play out in the story end.

          awesome game!

So what happens if you clear a building that will eventually become a quest to clear. Wandering around I walked into the Toy maker cursory Google search reveals I'll be back. Any ideas if I'll have to kill them all again?

I happened to clear a place and found an item that a separate NPC would send you on a quest for. When I later met that NPC I could just turn it in immediately.

I would think going back that it wouldn't be filled, but maybe if it was part of a main story mission there could be more people there? Otherwise it'd be empty if it was a side mission thing?

Buildings can respond enemies after a set number of days, I believe.

Got a silencer on that 10mm, now it's super stealthy. Also got a legendary gun that can cripple legs that I'm only using since it uses .38 ammo, which I have a ton of. Just got into the combat zone today, up to level 13 again. Already up to expert in lockpicking and hacking, got the 3rd level of sneak, next levels are advancing my armor and gun modding. Then I'll probably, finally, pick up gunslinger and rifleman. I'm absolutely loving this game.

I don't think it matters in terms of performance. I've played FO4 on both and don't see any difference.

So, if I put all my junk in a cabinet and then go to make a mod for a weapon. Do I have to have the items on me or will it let me use what I have stocked in the drawer?
If I'm building a structure and put like a wall back into the workbench, is it saved or gone? I built a house and it was terrible and took it all down but didn't have enough to finish my new one and had to find more material.

So glad I started over on the PC. Got about 20ish hours in on the Xbox. Just flows much better after learning a few things. And as usual, the keyboard and mouse is fantastic.

Your junk is best stored in a workshop (which looks like a cabinet). Not just any cabinet will work, as the materials for building a d crafting will either pull from the junk on your character or the workshop storage. As far as items that you remove while builds, ALWAYS store them in the workshop, do not delete them, otherwise you will need to use consume all the materials again.

Can someone point me in the direction of the mini nuke in Malden Center? I found the Fat Boy no problem, but spent an hour looking for the mini nuke and didn't find much using google. Thanks.
