Man stuff is so damn expensive in Unity and acquiring money is a serious grind. In Rogue and Black Flag you could get money very fast and a ton of it. In Unity, nope.

Do some co-op stuff, I did one heist and got around 15k for it. I now have the 25k katana sword and renovated multiple buildings.

Yup, the Heist missions are a must if you want to upgrade your character with nice items.

Has been no frame rate issues the past two days for me. When there are no issues this game is just fantastic.

Really enjoying Unity. Love the new combat and weapons. Don't mind Arno at all though the climbing controls are a bit scratchy. Had only one instance of frame rate issues in my four or so hours of play. The setting and environments have been spectacularly realised. It is an AC game for sure but the new reworked mechanics and the introduction of tons of weapons and costumes plus upgrades adds some vital difference to the experience. I gotta go to bed but I just want to hang out in Paris a little longer to introduce my shiny Spontoon to a few more faces and let my Flintlock mop up the stragglers.

To the above poster, the Cockade's only seem to be a collectable that reward you with unlockable costumes and stuff if you gather the necessary quantity from what I can tell.

I tried to do a Heist.........

I wasn't ready.... Kept dying over and over and over. Going to have to level up a bit before I take on Heists. I get shot twice and die every time.

Speaking of guns, why is it Arno's guns are so damn weak compared to the enemy's guns ? That $1,000 rifle didn't do a damn thing. I was looking like WTF, they survived a headshot with a rifle ?

Don't know if they are going to patch it and make the reward lower but me and some buddies did that highest rated difficulty heist a few times and each of us getting 70,000 of whatever the currency is.

It's not that bad if you do with people you communicate with. A ton of enemies but well worth the reward plus you can do it as many times as you want. Have all my gear just about maxed out and I'm on sequence 5.

Why are the controls so unresponsive during battles and during follow missions ? I died so many times because of the unresponsive controls. And I hate how your character constantly turns around FOR NO REASON sometimes when you are fighting.

I also don't like how the story line in this game pulls you out of the story line to do some stupid BS....I hated that in the past AC games and I see Unity brought that stupid BS back.

And why on Earth did they make reaching the top of view points in this game so hard ? I played all the AC games and they never had climbing to the top so damn unnecessary complicated like they have it in Unity. The real gear grinder to top it all off is majority of the time when you climb stuff, especially tall buildings is when you get the frame rates dropping way off. Feels like you moving at turtle speed.

I was looking at the rifles and opted not to buy because I'm pretty sure they all say non-lethal on them, what does that even mean how is a rifle non-lethal?

Doesn't kill them. Don't waste your money on them like I did. They do very little damage shooting wise and then you end up swinging your rifle like a baseball bat in combat. Pretty lame they make a rifle your primary weapon instead of a secondary weapon.

Over all I find both the rifles and pistols very weak and worthless for your character. But yet the guards pistols and rifles will kill you with just 2 shots.......
