Decided to start a female character to compliment my level 150+ character. Funny how you realize things you completely missed the first couple times through, such as the fact that you can summon Papa G to help with the Cleric Beast. Made the fight hilariously easy.

Hadn't played for a couple weeks, but still can't beat ebrietas and still can't find any summons there. Did make some progress in nightmare of mensis at least.

Have you tried the cannon on her? I've seen a lot of videos of people blasting her in the head with a decently leveled cannon with bonemarrow ash for almost 50% damage. Unfortunately, I completely missed the Upper Cathedral Ward on my first playthrough.

Yeah he is pretty easy. Only took me two tries to fight him. The first was me just observing his moves but I died. The second one was me just attack his mid-section that on the ground. Even through I tool damage from the Bell maiden, I was able to get my health back thanks to the regen system. I thought he was going to be difficult but nope, I had more trouble fighting BSB and Rom than him.

I beat The One Reborn on the first try, only had to heal a couple of times. Just stayed right near him, close as I could and hacked away. My character is pretty strong, level over 100, but I was still surprised how easy it was.

Yeah, that guy was simple. I was very low level and didnt kill the bell ladies and got him on first go.

I was helping on that one later on though and got caught in its vomit or whatever and that crap pretty much insta killed me. So stay away from that.

I'm gonna spend some time leviling up to 70-75 putting pretty much all in vitality so I dont get one-shot and level up my cannon to 9 and I'll try that method on Ebrietas I guess. Seems kinda cheesy but Ive died probably a dozen times solo. I helped multiple people beat their's but cant get help because I'm like level 60, was about 50 when I first started. It's just a pain to grind, I never felt like I needed to level up much until now. Rom, those soul sucker guys, those thing in front of cainhurst, and a few of the hunters were the only enemies that gave me trouble til this point.

Completed the Defiled Chalice - definitely the most satisfying thing to get through in this game by far.

That second boss was brutal.

Beat Amydgala on the first try too, no problem at all. Once again, stayed close, healed and hacked. Getting there was an adventure. Nightmare of Mensis coming next.

I beat Rom last night. I love this game so much. I'm level 62 now, feel I'm pretty well leveled up to push through the next few bosses. Easily my favorite game of this generation and will be in my top 10 games of all time. Love everything about it. It's difficult but so rewarding when you beat that boss, almost a "YES!" comes out every single time.

I've gotta get back to this eventually. I got pissed off against Father Gascoigne and haven't popped it back in since.

What eventually helped me was running up the stairs as soon as you enter the arena. When Father G turns into a werewolf, he has MUCH less room up there to jump around. If you can, drill him with molotov cocktails in Wolf form, as he's vulnerable to fire.

Also, when he is still in Hunter form, parry and visceral the hell out of him. Once you get that down (his timing window for a parry is huge for all of his attacks), he's super easy up until he turns into a wolf.

Holy crap do you have a lot of game left to look forward to! Man, I envy you.
