I'm on PS4 was wondering do you guys use the default controller setup or do you raise your sensitivity? I've been messing around with it as well as the dead zones, still trying to find what I like.

I can tell you this much: before the game came out I watched alot of videos trying to decide if I wanted to get the game or not. It looked deathly slow. Like alot of standing around and waiting for things to happen.

Playing the game, I run out of time on defence doing everything I need to do before the action phase starts. I end up finishing everything just as the offensive team gets inside the building. On offence its always tense because around every corner could be the defending team waiting for you.

I was very wrong about this game and it seems to get better with every update too.

Better decide quick because Amazon has it on sale for $35.. I'm personally thinking of pulling the trigger, no pun intended.

I have fiddled with the settings, but always go back to default. Now, after 20+ hours have just become comfortable aiming. Now, I hope to actually hit my targets one day, lol.

I do wish I could customize the button layout more. Hate that I can't move melee off the right stick and swap it with the stance button.

I played the beta and was turned off by the pace, one death per round, the way you 'setup' each round etc...for no other reason than I'm used to Halo, Battlefield and the like. I play some 'tactical' shooters like Rising Storm, but that is still fast paced.

Anyways I gave this another go after release and mostly due to the fine gents in this thread. This game is truly a breath of fresh air. Its slow paced and there's certainly a learning curve. But once you get the gist and a feel for the game and how to play it's very fun and rewarding.

It's better of course with friends, but you can absolutely play solo. Don't be sacred (if you get it) to turn your mic on and ask for tops and pointers. It'll help in the long run, and more importantly groom your style to more communication. It truly is an essential part of the game that goes a lonnnnng way to winning matches.

Yeah I tend to fiddle to much & then just end up going back to the default. I think going back & forth constantly to much actually hurts me more than helps.

Just picked it up for $35. Doubt I'll get around to playing much but I'm open to learning.

Yeah yeah, that's what they allllll say. I'll just play it here and there...and then next thing you know you play it every night and every other game collects dust.

I'm on Destiny right now, and this is after 1000 hours since last year. No end in sight but hopefully this can pull me away.

Basically this. Grabbed it last week, but I was more excited for the Diablo 3 patch. Now, I haven't even booted up D3 since Siege set it's hooks in.

Part of it is having a consistent group of OSers to play with every night. I usually miss out on games that everyone on here groups up and plays.

I'm going through a crazy slump...cannot by a kill or stay alive...I shoot first they turn on me and boom I'm dead.

Right now everyone is one step ahead of me...so frustrating, lol.

Also what's a good connection...I've been between 40-60 during game play....it seems off to me. I was 1.2 K/D but since my slump I've fallen to
                          .7, but carrying a 1.2 w/l.
