Same missions, co-op. One player controls Alpha, the other Bravo.

Bit of a bummer that the missions are the exact same as single-player, but it's still mega fun to plan strategy with a buddy, especially on Master Sergeant difficulty or higher.

    Take care,

I am really liking this game. It would be cool if you could play the Army mode online.

If you play your solo play on the hardest level and then play online with the hardest level, couldnt you bascially do the same thing you did in solo play to defeat it in online play as well?

Yes. Still doesn't detract from an excellent game, though. This game is good enough to overcome those limitations, especially at the harder levels.

I don't think this is the case. Just from the offline experience once you know where to go this games turns linear pretty quickly. the good thing is that you have options but once you know how to defeat a level that's it it becomes just a matter of time of setting up proper cover fire and moving to the right spots. I don't see how going online is going to be the savior for this game. This isn't like your online buds can keep this game fresh. It's very static compared with other games where because you are playing other humans no two experiences are the same. Here it's just about beating the puzzle.

If the AI moved around each time you fired up a level then this game's replay would be through the roof. But sadly because it's just a puzzle game where once you know what to do it because entire too easy.

The good part is that it's hard and rewarding on your first time through the missions.

Indeed. It's a rental for me. If it had random spawn points, it would be a definite purchase.

I gamefly'd it, and I'm glad I did. I won't play it more than once through on Master Sergeant.

I just played some of the Army mode !

Great...it's what I wrote above on an earlier post...exactly what I wanted.

You can breech buildings, fight inside, and teamates can go KIA without abandoning the mission. No grenades from what I can figure...and the controls are different...but it's a lot of fun.
