Yeah I don't enjoy the layout stuff as much as the challenge (still enjoy obviously but prefer the challenge).

Maybe there are some mods around that can help with this.

I've been playing these kinds of games for 25 years, it's just a matter of knowing how the game works.

You guys using many mods? I've yet to get any buildings or roads but I saw some realism mods that slow the traffic and pedestrian movement down to a normal realistic pace. Going to grab those if I can also find one to allow the clock a little with it.

Aside from all the buildings I downloaded, I have these enabled :

              Extended Public Transport UI

Traffic Manager (great if you want to micromanage your road network)

              Automatic Bulldoze

              Improved Asset panel

              First Person Camera

              Auto save

              Unlock 25 tiles

              Extended building UI

              No more purple pollution

infinite ore and oil (I hated running out within months of mining)

              tree brush

No pillars( i need this for some intersections)

              mod achievement enabler

              Dynamic Resolution

road color changer + USA roads, makes it look like a US city.

                • Wall-to-wall buildings enabling players to build those European streets and neighbourhoods
                • Three new starter maps
                • Tunnels, one of the community’s most requested features

I finally got around to installing a bunch of mods last night. Haven't had a chance to test them yet but I'm looking forward to the realistic traffic speed, jams, no despawn, manual traffic lights and pedestrian crossings.

Did you get it to work yet? I know they were having issues with Steam updating the Traffic ++ & Traffic Manager files.

It took me a while to get it to work....but once it did...

I finally picked this up today as I found it on sale, missed the previous one.

Is there anywhere to go to find the mods/new buildings?
