Re: Overwatch
We played all the game modes, they are just really samey. There's assault, that's where there are the two areas one team defends the other attacks. Escort, where you have the moving thing. Control, where there are the areas that both teams have to try and fill up the meter for. Lastly assault/escort, you have to take an area that has a moving thing in it you then have to escort. They don't really feel that different either."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Overwatch
Yeah I won the end of the match with McCree. Had his Ult up and boom, wiped the whole enemy team with it. We won escort with them literally having Millimeters away from their last escort obj. Felt great.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Overwatch
My best match ever was our last as a 6 man OS team. I was soldier and bolt was zenyatta. He had me healed and debuffed every enemy I was attacking. I didn't die once, went like 23-0 and was by the payload the payload the entire time.

Re: Overwatch
I found the game a ton of fun. Looks great, controls great, love the diversity in heroes. Maps are laid out well and moves incredibly fast.
That being said, the lack of modes worries me for a full $60 release title. I know Blizzard will support the game, just not sure how long the legs are for this game. I could see the honeymoon period being over pretty quick for many people. It's hard for me to justify a full price game with no single player story mode anymore. Especially when you see how much content is in other games for the similar price point.
But there's no denying how much fun the game is, they went all out with humor and simplistic control type shooter that anyone can really pick up and play, plus have a good time. So I'm really torn on buying it right now. Will play more over the weekend and see how I'm feeling after more time with it. As of now, it's the most fun FPS I've played in a long time.Last edited by ExtremeGamer; 05-05-2016, 11:20 AM.Comment

Anyways, I was in a comfort zone with Soldier 76, Bastion, Pharah, & Reaper. I decided to try out a supportive/healing/buff/debuff character for once so I rolled with Zenyatta.
My first time using him so I started the match asking all the guys "what does so & so do". I got into a rhythm of staying near our Reinhardt who was shielding and from behind the shield I was able to constantly buff our most forward attackers & at the same time I was making sure to debuff any enemies they were fighting. I was able to kill a few snipers along the way by debuffing them the sniping them with my R2 shot.
Like Jare said, he never died that match and I didn't either. My ultimate heal went up about 4 times that match (it's like a super healing area) which works great if you pop it behind Reinhardt with his shield up, as everyone is advancing.
I love knowing I can play this game two completely different ways. I can go Soldier or whoever and go with my FPS comfort zone or now I can run Zenyatta and support guys. Since I never play that way it was actually more fun.
I agree with the various modes feeling similar, yet I enjoy all of the maps and there are quite a few of them.
I'm also wary of the legs this game may or may not have. I do know that Blizzard supports their stuff and it looks like they want to groom this game to be their flagship FPS/moba type competitive "e-sport" title.
60 bucks is a bit, yet I'm not really much of a single player gamer anymore. I mainly play online multiplayer so it may be worth it.Comment

Re: Overwatch
I've been watching all the movies they have out for this game. Pretty nice CG stuff they've put out. I must say, they did great work on those to the point where I'm very excited about it. Seems like Blizzard has a lot riding on this game.

Re: Overwatch
Someone tell me..
What is the objectives in the modes avaliable for the game?
I would love to see stuff like TF2 with capture the flag, control points, etc.Comment

Re: Overwatch
There's control point and a payload objective, where your team has to push an object from one end of the map to the other. Someone can probably clarify these more.Comment
