Hey guys, my daughter recently started playing this game on PC and she's still learning FPS type games and getting a lot of flack from other players so she is looking for some people to play with that won't rag on her for being new and not that good yet.

She said her battle ID is 1216. And don't worry she's not a kid. She's 19. But be nice if anyone finds her.

That sucks man. I've heard a lot of horror stories from girls in Overwatch (and I guess every other online game where people on the other side can hear your voice).

Just FYI the "1216" doesn't really tell people much. The BattleID format goes "alias # xxxx". For instance mine is Affy#1883.

I think there are only a few of us still playing PC at all. I've taken a break due to some of the recent changes in the game, but I will probably get back in it once the new patch goes through (possibly sooner if my friends keep hounding me lol).

Re-installed last night after the Doomfist rumors. Looking like a real possibility he could hit PTR next week and be on live servers a week or 2 after that.

Doomfist is on the PTR now.

His abilities aren't entirely what I expected...he's also an attack defender and I expected him to be a defense character of sorts (since most bosses [which is what he seems to be built up as] are "defend the area" type guys anyways).

Played around with him. He'll be a huge target but will do a ton of damage in close. He moves pretty fast too. That super jump is awesome.

He seems like a "defend the area" type of guy to me.

Doesn't seem like a character that you want venturing off on his own. He has to be in close to really do damage and doesn't have other attack players ability to really get the hell out of dodge and heal themselves.

Similar to other defense characters, he seems really effective at just holding down one area on his own. Just by staying close to the point, he'll cause problems. At least that's what I think the best way to use him would be.

I think that as opposed to reverting it they should reduce his hook cooldown back to were it was or even further. OHK was his entire character before and I understand why blizzard nerfed that, but he needs a new niche to compensate. CC and threat management would be a good role for him, and could help deathball survive dive a lot better.

Basically this.

They need to revert his CD back to 6s which I think will turn Hook into a pretty good cc ability.

I've always hoped that they give characters some new abilities, especially some new ults.

Yo, I'm on PC and am always willing to play with new people. I don't really care about ability as long as they are friendly and a team player. I play regularly with a group of guys so that might be a little intimidating since we're already a "clique" but we're all friendly and open. But yeah, 1216 doesn't really help in finding her, since on PC more than one person can have the same battletag. You need the full battletag with the hashtag, so for example I'm TheWarmWind#1583 (even though I show up in game as TheWarmWind).

Send me a whisper if you or she see me online saying you're from OS. I get a lot of friend requests from random matches which I usually ignore, so that'll help let me know it's you/them.

Edit: Two timezones in the group, Eastern and Central. We're small, usually only 3 or 4 on at once, but we're looking for more who follow our mentality of teamplay as opposed to the elim chasing and one-tricking that seems to plague the game. We range from silver to plat in skill.

I really enjoy this game but....


I'm going to have to put this game up for a while. The amount of toxic folks screaming if even a scent of things COULD go bad is just too much. I'm not going to listen to a bunch of cursing, immature kids/adults screaming at each other when it's just a game....not to mention the inevitable guy whom decides to throw the game to troll the others screaming.

It's just...it's too much. I feel like it's due to how Blizzard has calculated the SR and they need to adjust it.
