I am terrible at this game sometimes.

I get one shotted by Jackrat yet my 4 shots from Torbjorn seemingly make no dent. I wish there was a way to see the damage multiplier some of these guns do.

        Re: Overwatch

Just had my best Reaper game. 17 of 20 kills came on a kill streak, with just 1 death.

I am realizing that the xp system overly emphasizes offensive stats though. I'm level 12 splitting my time right at 60/40 from misc/support while a friend of mine is level 17 and has only played 18 more games than me. He's probably a little better than me as a gamer, but the difference in the xp is largely driven by him only playing a support in 9% of his matches.

edit - though it could also be attributed to him playing in groups more often than me.

              Re: Overwatch

Yeah like I said. It appears to be due to him playing with friends in pretty much all of his matches. That extra 20% boost goes a long way.

                  Here is me.

It would be cool if this site did more to break out averages by class. Like offensive hero averages vs defensive vs tank vs support.

Man I really wish everyone on PS4 used mics or we had a chat window like PC. Really hard to organize with randoms

                      Friendly reminder

You only need to have one person on the payload to move it, and once the point is in your teams control you don't need to stay in the area for it to continue to cap. Staying clumped together is a Reaper-Diva-Junkrat dream for enemy players

Agree on point capture. Payload is a bit different because it moves faster when multiple attack team members group up on it. So, if you know that you've wiped or nearly wiped the enemy team, you can group up on it and make better progress for several seconds.

Yeah it's a bit different but I just feel like I feel see too many team wipes when all six of us are basically on top of the payload bunny hopping. I feel like if you can keep a tank, healer, and third member around the payload and you have three killers roaming the edges/flank you stand a better chance

                              Re: Overwatch

Many times we killed some of the enemy team and had enough players to move the payload in for the win but instead of everyone moving in to it they stay spread out and allow 1 or 2 defenders to stop it from moving.

The payload is a messure of how many people are around it to move.

Example: 1 defender on payload and 2 offense on payload moves it forward while reversed it moves it backwards.

And many times 5 or 6 of us have all been clumped up at the payload and gotten mollywopped and team-wiped by one ultimate

"Movement is a key to progress."

What I am trying to say is people need to be watching the left and right lanes as well as someone checking flank for Reaper/Tracer at all times or else you're probably gonna run into some trouble. When all of the team is standing on or right by the payload facing one way that is when we have had the most trouble. I don't think we need people a mile away from the payload, but having 3 killers patrolling close-moderate range peripherals is always a good idea in my mind.
