Not surprised they're talking about McCree nerfs - I figured it shouldn't be that easy to almost single-handedly break reinhardt's barrier. Nerfing his fan hammer damage still shouldn't keep him from killing off the 200 HP characters with one "clip". It definitely wouldn't make him unusable or anything.

Agreed, McCree is too OP. In the tournament last week, most teams ran double, and even triple-McCree lineups. I am glad to see they're discussing D.Va buffs, I like her as is so I cannot wait to see the improved D.Va.

I like the direction they are talking about going with McCree. The stun seems fine to me it's the fan the hammer obliteration that bugged me and it looks like that's what they are gonna tweak

Yeah, the thing is at present it takes just 3 of the 6 possible fan shots to kill up to a 200 HP hero (70 damage each shot). That's silly - you don't even have to aim for it. That's also why it shreds barriers so easily - because you can just point the thing in Rein's general direction and deal 420 damage (x2 within seconds if you combat roll for a quick reload).

Making to where he has to hit with 5-6 of those shots will be much more balanced and also keep him from ripping up barriers quite so easily..

This map:



...was designed terribly around objective A. When trying to get to it from spawn as an attacker, there is a small hole at the top left that only a few heroes can get to but everyone else has to go thru the middle. There should be at least another alternative.

Doesnt the one escort map have the same thing, only one way through for attackers? Its a darkish map with the attackers spawning in a Bell Tower.

Overwatch

Not sure if I've just been lucky or what but the past two days I've kept a close eye out for McCree and I seem to rarely see him used

I've tried him quite a bit and I'm just trash with him...... He's so slow/immobile (probably a very good thing)

I can for sure he how the fan shots could be OP though

We ran into some tough teams today, won a few games but definitely took some lumps. On our last match we decided to say Eff It and just go all Torbjorn. Shout out to OS's very own Fearme for getting what has to be the most awe inspiring, technically proficient Play Of The Game ever. Take notes folks, this is how it's done

It's funny, heroes that bothered me a lot in the beta and right at launch no longer do. I don't mind going against Reapers, Bastions, or Torbs anymore. I feel I win most of those battles now. The heroes I struggle with more now are Tracers and Reinhardts. A good tracer can be SO hard to take down. I feel like a lot of people just stand in front of Reinhardt when he comes at them and even mobile heroes wont try to get behind him until its too late.

Part of the magic of this game is how unpredictable this game is match to match. Something that worked for 40 elims against 5 deaths one match could end up getting you a 5 elim against 15 death game right after. Everything is so varied based on team compositions and playstyles/skills. Each match feels unique.

For some reason I am just not a good sniper. I have tried Widowmaker and other than taking out a stationary Bastion or turret, I just don't have that snap-aim that others have when scoped in, I tend to overcompensate. Maybe I need to adjust that individual setting in her control menu

Sooo.... Having a baby tonight. Might be offline for a while.

No you'll be good. Newborns do nothing but sleep the first few weeks of their lives. After that though game time may become more scarce.

Thanks guys! Little surprised as she arrived four weeks. Mom and baby are both doing very well and should go home by Tuesday.

Bring them each a gift from their new sibling when they go to meat the baby. My son remembers that to this day. Congrats man!

So got an elite controller for my birthday and trying to adjust to it with this game. Actually makes mercy a little easier for me as I mapped the weapon switch to one of the back bumpers so I can switch between pistol and healing quickly.

But been trying to keep using all the characters and I seem to do well with most supports and road hog and reaper.

And symeterra can become a very annoying character. The turns placed right at the exit can dual them then the teleporter makes keeping them Pinned so easy lol
