Do you guys know if the non NG+ playthrough is still accessible after transferring it to NG+?

I thinks you might have to do a manual save to make sure you can hop back into that game, but I'm not 100%.

I was going to do a new game plus on story difficulty after getting 100% competition.

Thankfully you can do ultra hard NG+ without beating game on ultra hard first. I tried starting new regular game on ultra hard and it seemed crazy hard, ultra hard on NG+ isn't to bad so far.

So far I've unlocked 4 face paints and 1 different focus element. I wish there was more differences/ improvements to the focus besides just looking different by your ear.

Tried playing this last night for the first time in a while. Was totally lost control wise. Didn't help that I left off right before I had to fight this fairly huge big bird thing. Not sure if I need better gear or if I was just rusty. Will hopefully have some time to try again this weekend.

The giant extremely huge birds are a pain, I only had to fight one during the last battle, avoided the rest. In earlier play through I unlocked all caldrons and just roped them down and override them.

On another note I beat the game on ultra hard, wasn't too bad except for the entire last battle, with the exception of beating that one human. There is 3 different focus things, meh. Some of the makeup is pretty cool, but you only really notice it during cut scenes.

This was me a little while back. I wound up starting the game over a few days ago and for me, it was the right decision. I've got the controls down once again. I'm already up to Level 8 and have made it through the Proving.

I'm gonna have to do this, too. The story is fuzzy and I know the controls would kick my *** considering I was probably half way through the game. The last time I played was probably April.

About the same time I stopped playing. I picked up a Switch and Breath of the Wild and for as good as Horizon is, it quickly fell out of my rotation. Now that I'm back into it and don't have any other non-sports games occupying my time, I'm making great progress.

I just fell out of favor with video games for some reason. I just recently started playing Telltale's Batman so I'm jonesing for something else.

This is what I did, it's so worth it. I stopped playing just before going to Meridian the first time around. This time I am one or two story missions from finishing. While it's no Novigrad, Meridian is pretty cool.

I restarted today and played right up to The Proving.

I'm not sure what made me put the game down originally, but it couldn't have been due to the game itself. Combat is butter. The story has pulled me in. Aloy's personality makes any conversation a treat. Above all else, though, hunting robotic dinosaurs is awesome.

I was trying to decide if I wanted to restart this or go through the Arkham series again, but I'm glad I started with this first.

I just wanted to say that this game looks unreal on the Pro with a 4k TV. It will definitely be the game I show to friends when they visit, in particular my buddy who is on the fence about the upgrade.

I finally made it to Meridian at level 30 which I don't remember visiting there on my initial play attempt. I was starting to experience some fatigue as I cleared out the Nora sacred lands and moved west, but man the Carja region really opens up. The initial western landscape. The dense forests with jagged plateaus jutting up through. It's an amazing landscape that holds some challenging beasts.

I'm currently working on the Hunter's Lodge quest and finishing up the Hunting trials. I had to do a double take in the Hunter's Lodge, though. I swear the first guy you talk to is the same voice as Vesemir from The Witcher. After talking to the main ******* Sun Hawk I swear I heard Geralt at the bar asking for another beer.
