If the current time lines hold, that is when the new movie is supposed to release. They definitely won't release this game on the same day as the movie.

Has anyone been charged for there game yet from the slasher backer site that went down last week I wasn't charged on the 8th & haven't been yet even though I pre ordered so maybe there waiting till it ready to ship afterall..

I think so but might have deleted it either way I've not been charged & am wondering if I should just pre order it again as the site still up & says my card will be charged closer to the Oct 2016 release date..

Wonder if I'll be able to not be charged till then if so I'll resubmit that said wish there was some other way to see if my pre order for it back on July 5th got in there system

By checking like order history as I'd hate to re pre order then get doubled dipped 4 two games

Cuz I also bought the DLC pre orders so I remember those as well was gonna cost me $75..

Is there any other way to check & see if they got my order before I resubmit thx

I'm definitely Gameflying this, but I wonder why none of the big dogs picked up the rights to this? This has Naughty Dog written all over it, or possibly even Rockstar. But whatever, I just hope it's good. Graphics looked early PS3ish, but I can live with that if gameplay is smooth and fun.

Just saw this post or I would have responded sooner.

The game is intentionally self-published. The dev team did not want a publisher to have any say in what could or could not be in the game. Their intention is for it to be in line with the movies and they are unwilling to have anyone make them back off of that.

They have said many, many times that they are aiming for a "hard M" rating.

Just thought I'd clear this up, in the event it was still a question.

I guess that

1.) you have never seen Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning

2) you didn't grow up in the 80s loving the slasher genre.

Otherwise, you'd get it.
