    Re: Detroit [PS4]

At the time, eight years ago, Heavy Rain was a remarkable narrative driven game.

Detroit improved on everything. Some of the best graphics and character models I've ever seen on a console.

That's usually how I am with games like this especially with heavy rain. I was able to get mostly good outcome on my first time through. I am getting ready to play it through a 2nd time now that I've had a month or two to forget some of the small details of the game.

I finished Detroit last night. I knew what I was in for after enjoying Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls when they launched, but Detroit on PS4 Pro on a 4k tv was so engrossing I couldn't believe it.

I really wish I had time to play through it again right now because I'm not happy at all with my ending lol..

            Spoiler

            But anyways, amazing game. Wow.

It's always enjoyable to hear/read about how the game played out for other people. So many possible endings for the three main characters.

I'm trying to give myself a little more distance from the story before playing the game again; I did two successive playthroughs and enjoyed the game immensely, but not sure a third run would resonate with me with the story being so fresh in my mind.

It's been 2 months since I played this so I'm going to start it up again this week after I finish off uncharted lost legacy. I think enough distance has passed to forget some of the small details and choices I've made.

Yea reading the endings like Aidens and I'm blown away by how actually different they are then mine. It shows you that the choices you make really do matter and all roads dont sorta end at the same destination.

And what's crazy to me is not only are the endings so vastly different, most the game can end up vastly different based on early choices/mistakes. Unreal.

I would love to see what the studio's flowchart looked like when they were laying out and planning the entire story from beginning to end. That thing would have to be massive to cover every single branching arc in the storyline.

Even small decisions early on can definitely have a ripple effect.

Well here is the coding for just one scene:

                        Came from David Cage himself.

Looks like Quantic Dreams is going multi-platform. Great news for PC and Xbox gamers.

Just finished Detroit. Definitely some emotion throughout the game and the best choice and consequence game out there today. Enjoyed the story and characters. Gorgeous game. Great audio. A lot of replayability as well. Great game. An 8.0/10 for me personally.
