I got a 4k TV late 2016 but just have regular ps4 and am being patient waiting for ps5 not getting a pro. I would love to be able to play games in 4k because 4k is great but i dont have the best job and i can wait for ps5 and dont really like the whole mid gen upgrade thing plus going from ps4 to ps5 i am sure i will be more impressed with the graphic jump then i would be if i went from ps4 pro to ps5. I am thinking ps5 will be a late 2019 thing but we will see. But yeah i already fell like i cant wait for ps5 because of 4k and even more so if ps5 can play ps4 games. Ps4 still has a lot left.

She went all " No PS5 coming for another three to five years" "Sony hasn't totally pushed the base PS4 to its limits" "The Pro is cutting edge technology and will last for several more years". Her tone rubbed me the wrong way so I said, "Five more years and you may never catch up".

I laughed and walked out. Anyway, can't wait to dive into God of war 4 when I get off work.

I'd just swap HDMI spots for the time being.

If I was strictly playing this I would do that for sure but getting behind my TV every time I switched playing Xbox One X and PS4 would get old. I may look for a splitter or just deal with it, still looks pretty good. Thanks for suggestion though.

I'm playing in 1080. Resolution mode makes me dizzy with this game.

I dont see 3-5 years that would mean like 2021-2023 and that would mean 7 to 10 years from ps4 to ps5 that is a long time. I think e3 will be a very big like tell when it comes to ps5. If we dont see a lot of new games and more just updates on ps4 games then i think ps5 will be at the end of next year with games like TOU2, Death stranded and Sucker punches game being the last games before a ps5. If we do get some more like ps4 new games shown then i think we will see ps5 in late 2020. But yeah dont see another 3-5 years that would maybe be waiting to long. Hope you enjoy the game. I have never played a GOW game before but i am going to play this one already have the game but it will be a little bit before i have time with NBA playoffs going on and all. Still have like 4-5 games on DVR right now watching one has i type this.

lol first world problems. I have the Samsung ks8000 4k TV and it has 4 HDMI inputs and while i mostly use my tv for ps4/switch 4k player and watching Comcast i do have to switch between inputs pretty often has i also have ps3, wii u connected with HDMI and with the tv not having old inputs i have a converter thing for both my gamecube and snes systems so i can still play them. So i have 8 things that are connected by HDMI and only 4 inputs.

Maybe you can turn in your ps4 and some games, and upgrade to the pro...if you own a 4k HDR set you owe it to yourself. I'm rocking with a LG oledc7. And it's on another level.

ps5 might be in late 2020, I'd be surprised if it launched any earlier than that. so go for the upgrade brother, it's worth every penny.

Maybe you can turn in your ps4 and some games, and upgrade to the pro...if you own a 4k HDR set you owe it to yourself. I'm rocking with a LG oledc7. And it's on another level.

I dont trade games ever so it would only be the system i would trade and that would only be like 125 or something so after tax and what not i would still be paying 300 to upgrade rather just speed that in a few years towards ps5 when that is ready. I am still going with 2019 that would be 3 years from ps4 to ps4 pro and 3 from pro to 5. I think 2020 at the latest. At one point in time around like black Friday or something they had the pro at a price of like 325 for a short time and a higher trade in where it would have cost like 150 to upgrade and at that time i really thought about upgrading but didn't. If the system had a 4k player like it should have i would have. Sony really messed up by not having a 4k player in the pro.

Finally played tonight, 2 hours too, and me people a huge GOW fan is will say his is one of the best games I EVERED PLAYED. Ever !! The graphics the best I have seen in any game to date. I’m on the pro playing on my 4K set and man so good. I own the X too and I still haven’t seen anything touch GOW4. Sony out did themselves . Loving the game

Get a good switcher. That's what a few of us did...

I may grab this game in a few days. I'm on a long stretch at work with next day off not until Wednesday.
I told myself I would wait until I finish FC5 but we'll see.

It's not even close in this case. This game's visuals are the best I have ever seen on console.
