From what I've played so far I have to say this is the best game of the console generation thus far. Just all around awesome. Gameplay, graphics, story, they have nailed it all.

I got to a critical part of the story. Not gonna lie, I nerded out. I stood up and started chanting "Kratos, Kratos, KRRAATTOOOOSS!" like a damned fool. Completely forgot my wife and mother in law were in the guest room down stairs next to my man cave. Lol. My mother in law can't stop laughing. They got a good show before heading out.

What level are some of you playing on? Fortunately I'm getting off a little early because work is slow so I'll be able to start playing after. May try hard level unless it just gets too frustrating.

I have noticed one flaw with the game. The freaking text size. I have pretty good eyes but the text is so small I'm struggling to read it.

God of War 4

This game is absolutely incredible. Playing on my original PS4 and game still runs great. The first fight with the Stranger was just so well done. This could end up being up one of my favorite games of all time. Love the RPG elements as well. I didn't even know those were in the game as I've gone in totally blind.

GOW definitely looks gorgeous. Best looking console game I’ve played. That said, the game is frustratingly hard and not one I want to devote 30 plus hours to. I know I’m in the extreme minority but when I play games, it’s to relax and be entertained. Yes I want a challenge but this type of game just doesn’t appeal to me. Nor do I necessarily care about the story. Getting old sucks...I’m happy I spent only $3.26 for a Redbox rental.
