Don't even get me started dude. I put over 200 hours into Arkham City, at least 100 of which were endless runs in the Iceberg Lounge (the combat challenge room with no timer) just racking up high scores in the Batman Beyond suit. I'm hoping they do more with the challenges next time around. I'm hoping for one with a boss rush, just do the boss fights back to back to back.

Spider Man is going to be a trilogy which was already known when Marvel said that the future of Spider Man was with Sony and Insomniac.

That’s rough. Should probably release on the Pro/PS4 too but if it’s not for a few years it’s not a huge issue. I just doubt the difference between this game and the next is going to be that huge tech wise that it couldn’t run on all their consoles.

I don’t see why it couldn’t release on the Pro at least. Which essentially means it could release on the PS4 too. Obviously Sony won’t do that because they will use it to sell consoles.

Exactly. Best way to sell a console is with exclusives you can't play anywhere else. For me, I want Spider Man 2, God of War 2, Horizon 2 and whatever new IP's the first parties come up with on PS5. Oh boy oh boy, im all giddy. LOL.

Spider-Man shouldn’t even be an exclusive imo. Doesn’t really impact me but it’s pretty silly that it is. If Spider-Man 2 can run on the Pro and look amazing, Which we know would probably be the case it should be playable on the Pro. I totally don’t expect Sony to do that at all though. It’s not a positive thing imo.

This mindset is kind of what’s wrong with gaming though. You’re not excited for games. You’re excited for exclusives.

Anyone else not really digging the different spidey suits? I keep going back to the old blue and red one. The insomniac one with the white spider is good and I don't mind the Stark one but the rest are just meh.

Now that I’m kinda just swinging around finishing stuff up I’m using a bunch of different ones. All the ones you mentioned are my favorites also though. I also like the one from infinity war.

The Scarlet Spider suit is my go to. I've been using the 2099 suits a little, along with the classic comic suit because of how cool the comic effect looks, and the Stark and Iron Spider suits.

Disagree. If Spider Man wasn't given to Sony by Marvel and contracted to be developed by Insomniac, we would all have another piece of garbage cash grab from Activision. Why would anyone want that instead of what we got? Because it would be multi-platform? So basically, three versions of crap. Sorry but I'll take the HIGH QUALITY of Sony exclusives over any multi-platform game from Activision especially when it's based on a licensed property that Activision wouldn't give two craps about as long as it rakes in the cash.

It's a huge positive to be on PS5 instead of PS4. I have been gaming since NES and will never understand the entitlement that gamers seem to have thinking that everything should be connected and never die. That's bullcrap man. Imagine back in the SNES days and Super Mario World being held back by NES and it's limited capabilities? No mode 7 scaling or rotation. UGH. That would have been horrible. UGH.

Are exclusives NOT games? Exclusives is why I buy consoles (all three by the way) and what gets me invested in that platform. If it wasn't for exclusives, there would be no reason for multiple consoles. There would only be reason to have one but that would suck because it would be a monopoly and without any competition, guess who suffers the most? US.

Exclusives is why I buy a console and multi-platform games are the games I play in between exclusives. For me personally, PS4 exclusives are simply the best of the best. Doesn't matter if it's Spider Man, Horizon, God of War or even Sega's Yakuza series. Exclusives are also heavily favored simply because the QUALITY is there pretty much every time. Where as multi-platform games depend on quantity (take Ubisoft for example which is actually my favorite publisher) over quality. Except for CDPR and Rockstar, every third party is focused on quantity over quality. Don't know about you but I prefer NOT to play the Battlefront 2's, MEA's and Sniper Ghost Warrior 3's of the world but that's just me.

But since you seem to think that I all I play is exclusives, I have great news for you bud. I'm currently playing SOTTR followed by ACO, RDR 2, Darksiders III and possibly Just Cause 4. Guess what all five of these games have in common? Yep, that's right, they're multi-platform games.

If anything, I find it more puzzling that you're against exclusive games when the majority of them turn out to be excellent and amazing games? As a gamer, why wouldn't you want that?
