Must of missed it in training, how do I get out of supersonic speed, always overshoot my destination?

Keep your speed in the blue part of your speedometer once you get within 10 seconds or so, then you hit Y or Triangle once you're at safe disengage, but you must have your speed in the blue area to do so.

Slowly figuring things out. Kept overshooting my target as well but thanks to the training videos along with the tips on here things are starting to make sense. Game is deep!!

Go to starport services/mission board/ the mission you have to turn in will be at the top.

Loving this game so far. playing safe so far, did 2 deliveries of wine and beer, for over 100,000 credits total. so immense and bad ***, really feel out in space on my own. haha.

Wow I'm jealous. Been at work all day thinking about this game. On lunch I was googling tips and strategies. Even took a screenshot of the keyboard functions lol. Don't even want to go golfing with the buddies tomorrow because I want to dive deep into this. Talk about hooked!!

Spent about 2 hours just going over training videos and more tutorials. Just when I think I've ready I freak out lol. I did buy this off my local OfferUp for $40. Seller said it was too much and the stick looks almost new. Said he used it about 10 hours

Intended on just running a mission or two last night and 6 hours later and 2AM I finally put it down lol. Game really changes when you upgrade your jump drive.

I finished Batman Arkham City and side missions finally last night, hope to get out and try new ship out tonight. Never played the batman games before, so decided to play through the 3 games, so far so good. Bring on Arkham Night next. If Elite Dangerous does not keep me from it. haha

Back from Vacation and back to Elite. I travelled way out there to the community goals system to take part in that. Once I got to the system I focused on the combat portion since that one is close to being finished.

First two bounties I collected netted me 100K+ credits which got me in the money for the CG. If it were to end right now id get 700k.

After that however, I got destroyed by a pretty high ranking wanted npc. Ship insurance was 124k so I basically lost what I earned.

Hopefully it's not over by tomorrow and I can jump into a higher tier of rewards.

So how you fellas go about in Elite Dangerous? You go mission to mission? you only go safe? you do bounties? how you handle business? you just free fly? you do open or solo play? So far I have only done safe delivery missions with decent credits, just to get myself use to traveling and navigation. Side note, learned when going to a new system, make sure to mark a specific system navigation point, if not, you will come out of hyper at the systems sun!!! haha learned that the hard way a few times. almost fried myself.

I normally try to work on one thing at a time like my trading rank........that's until something catches my eye and I'm like "squirrel" and get completely sidetracked for about 4 hours.
