Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Did they find you inside the place? The bandana won't matter then.
Bandana works if someone sees a crime and runs away. They'll tell the sheriff they saw something but don't know who did it.
As long as you get far away, you'll walk away without being caught or having a bounty.
But if you stay in the red area, and they spot you, they will know it's you.
Also if you put on the bandana after everyone has seen you and then rob them, the bandana won't work.

Good point.
My horse's Mohawk is pretty distinguishable. I wish I could give him a nose ring.Last edited by AUChase; 11-14-2018, 11:28 AM.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Check around camp for John, Jack, Sadie and/or Abigail. They can all be missing.
There is a main mission for each that they will show up in camp for but all other side missions and interactions will be missed.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Ok. I've already completed some missions for John and Abigail. I'll look out for the others. Thanks.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I hadn't been to Valentine much since starting chapter 3. I had new hair, facial hair, a new horse I alternate with my other horse, plus a new outfit. Was able to do some bad things in Valentine and make it out unidentified.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Red Dead Redemption 2
Well that's a bummer. I don't think I'll be starting over having just recently started chapter 3. I'll save that stuff for playthrough number 2, whenever that may be (probably/hopefully on PC).
Hopefully it'll be all ironed out by then and at the least will make the next playthrough fresh in some way.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Okay, so wait...
1) How does that first mission prompt/change things regarding whether or not you will have their side missions?
2) Didn't someone say something about Chapter 4 bringing them up again later?
There is no way in hell I'm starting over. I may only be a certain percentage finished, but that time scrumming around for everything was time earned damn it. Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Are we sure they have side missions you will miss? This thread is the first time I've seen that. I've heard you'll miss on interactions in the camp and you obviously cannot give them their requested items until they pop up again but nothing about missing side missions.
I know I don't have the characters all the time, but when there is a side mission to complete with or for them, they show up. For example I had no issue going fishing despite the boy being absent most of my 30 hours playing.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I've actually had more fun with this game over the last two days than in the few weeks prior. I'm only on Chapter 3, so its not like I'm speeding through it, but the last two days I decided to just amble around. Not running with Arthur (unless being chased) and not galloping with the horse unless there was a reason. Just trotting along, checking things out, doing the NPC random side things. It should take a while to get from one place to another so I'm just slowing down.Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

I've always been like this in games when they allow you to. When a dev like Rockstar makes beautiful worlds that are as alive and detailed as they are taking it slow really allows you to appreciate their work.
When I played the Ballad of Gay Tony for GTA IV I didn't steal a single car unless it was required for a mission. I walked everywhere unless required by a mission or to cross the street when I was running out of time to safely cross. I took the subway or taxis everywhere if I didn't have a car. I drove following the traffic laws for the most part. That was some of the most fun and most relaxed I've been playing a game. I used to know the Liberty City subway system like the back of my hand.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
