He is, but it's not unreasonable to believe since Dutch basically raised and indoctrinated Arthur. Just like people in cults follow the leader to some pretty crazy ends.

Arthur is pretty clearly made out to be an idiot. I don't think R* tried to hide that any. Nearly every cut scene pretty much tries to point it out.

I read the spoiler. I won't touch the glitch. I've run out of things to buy and I just started chapter 4. Every gun is fully upgraded and customized. My horses all have upgraded gear. I have 8,000 articles of clothing. I've bought every pamphlet needed for recipes. All that is left for me to do is buy the Trapper's clothes and get upgraded satchels and the things the trapper crafts for you.

I know I've done a ton of side activities, but if I had to choose one thing I was disappointed with, it's how easy money comes in this game. That's a problem with every game in the genre, though, just about.

Yeah I don’t see any need for a money glitch during the campaign either.

I would never even use a glitch like that. It destroys the entire point of the game living in the Wild West and doing various activities to earn your keep and make your way through the world and earn the luxuries in life. But if you like having that....that is fine for you obviously.

I simply can't put this game down. Still in Chapter 2, still on my long hunting and fishing expedition (Bagged two legendary animals now in the Grizzly and Beaver). I made my way to Saint Denis. Wow. What a city!

                  Spoiler

I am still riding with Darla my pre-order War Horse. She is awesome. My goal is to have her the entire first play through. Oh yeah...there will be another play through with this game. I am simply blown away with all of it. Some may feel this is not a fun game due to all the micro management (cores, bathing, sleeping, eating, hunting, fishing, horse bonding etc). To me this game dwarfs the classic RDR. In so many ways. Are there things about RDR I liked better? yeah a couple of things. But RDR2 is a crowing achievement in open world gaming and the fact it is a Western makes it my favorite open world game of all time ahead of Skyrim.

Everyday I can't stop thinking what I am going to do next. 2-3 hours of playing time simply flies by....this past Saturday I played 5 hours straight and before I knew it the clock said 3:00 AM.

                  Damn this game rocks.

Agree...Money is easy to come by....hence my slow play approach. But I can see by Chapter 4 being close to the same boat you are in in terms of weapons and clothing.

I almost did it because I got a BS bounty after having to shoot my way out of a town. I ended up just taking the gold bar and using that. Once you get going you have plenty of opportunities to make good money.

I restarted, had the glitch it seems where fellow campers disappear. I did the glitch mission, stayed with group In Town, hopefully didn't glitch this time. Must say 2nd playthrough of 1st chapter went a lot quicker and better after understanding controls better.

Definitely agree with those saying the economy is poor/gets broken too early. I was enjoying it way more when I was struggling for money and having to be deliberative about how I traveled, and spent what I did have.

I think I'd be keen for a "hardcore mode" of sorts, where survival elements are made mandatory/more necessary and consequential, and you have mandatory liabilities to cover for the camp or the

Usually I'm not into this sort of stuff at all, but in this game world I'd like to give it a go.
