I've earned around 4, but spent 1 to buy a lake lure.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I don’t think it’s the gold bars that are the issue. Obviously they could buff them though. The store prices are more of an issue imo but maybe that can take care of itself if they add a ton of coop content that pays well.
My crew still hasn’t played since we finished the story missions because there doesn’t seem to really be a point. PvP doesn’t really interest me in red dead or gta since it’s all auto aim. Looking forward to some content updates bringing us back though.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Really wish I could drop some weapons out of my saddles weapon wheel. Having to hold onto everything for eternity is so stupid. Don't know how I ended up with two double action revolvers. Oh, and that rare rolling block rifle that's the same stats as my normal one. So irritating.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I accidentally picked up an old crappy carbine repeater early on in my first playthrough. It drove me crazy having to cycle past it every time I needed to select a weapon.
Have they announced yet if they're going to patch the sporadic issue with weapons disarming/emptying from your wheel when you're on a horse? That was probably my biggest complaint during my first playthrough; starting a mission where you suddenly only have a revolver because for some stupid reason the game disarmed the two shoulder weapons that you've had armed in your wheel the last 30 minutes."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Funny story...
SpoilerThe mission where you break Micah out of prison in Strawberry is the mission where he rewards you with your second holster so you can dual wield. I went into this mission with one revolver and no shoulder weapons due to this glitch (if you want to call it that).
If you recall, after you break the prison wall and free Micah, you hand him a gun. So in this situation--you guessed it--I give Micah my lone gun and we're pinned in the corner surrounded by lawmen and the only weapon I have is my knife. I eventually walked out into a hail of gunfire and let the lawmen kill me. I respawned and had my shotgun and repeater."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

I think the payouts of missions is the biggest issue, not the prices. I'm level 20 and have 3 gold bars, used 1 to buy a lure, I have a bolt action rifle, varmint rifle, and still have I think $400 or $500 bucks lying around. If the missions, especially stranger missions, paid more than $3-6 I'd probably have 3 or 4 more guns and have the same amount of cash lying around. The more I've played the more I think the prices are fine, the payouts are the problem.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

The story missions paid out pretty well the first time you did them. They become useless after that though. I agree on the stranger missions. They didn’t seem worth it at all.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
The story missions were up to $200 weren't they? I agree they paid well, there's only a handful of them at the moment, though.
If stranger missions worked and paid out more in the range of $25+ then I think that would balance things out a lot by itself.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

They really need to fix these online stranger missions. I had 3 more glitch on me yesterday.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Are there any that consistently work?
Not Aiden, but the other station worker, Angus?, has never worked for me once.
The stuttering guy has never worked once.
Bonnie is 1 for 2. The dude in the cabin thet is friends with Micah didn't work.
The grandma near Big Valley had never worked.
The only ones that work everytime for me are the mail delivery missions. I've never had a protection or repossession work one time.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

The only stranger mission that ever worked for me was Micah's friend. Nobody else worked for me.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I did a loop around the Valentine area a few nights ago (because there was a posse of about 20 forming a ring around Fort Mercer and good luck delivering the mail through that) and all of the missions worked. 3 or 4 of them one after another - did I just get lucky?
That brings up another point - once the stranger missions get ironed out I don't think there's going to be as many griefer complaints. Because with a map as large as this one there's no way that one griefing posse can disrupt all of the stranger missions - maybe a few in a specific region at most. I think it's a max of 32 in a server, so there's going to be a ton of open space and missions to do no matter what.Comment
